Mr. Shawerma - Gurney Paragon — Restaurant in George Town

Very Clean and Friendly staff with a great food. Reasonable price. Being a vegetarian, i ordered Greek salad (9 RM) and Hummus (5 RM). Ordered some sampler of red sauce. The hummus comes with 2 large Tortillas rather than typical flat pita bread - OK. I made my own veggie wrap with the flat bread smeared hummus , put the Greek salad, some red sauce and rolled it up as my own wrap. I would strongly recommend any one looking for a clean hygienic middle eastern food. I wish they could do Falafel sandwich wraps will be a hit in this place and told the person at teh stall. Hope they will bring in one day- Great food guys...

Very bad waiting experience. The staff told us to wait 25 minutes, I was okay with it, looking at it was a weekend. Waited for 35 minutes but still asked to wait for turn. The chicken was in enough portion to serve until my turn but the staffs were just too slow to handle many orders. Many customers asked when was their too turn. I waited almost 50 minutes just for my dinner, until I feel so uncomfortable. The 3 mans work too slow,like a girl, even a girl can be faster than them. I've been eating Mr Shawerma at least once a month for a few years now. Used to be reliable for a decent meal but had a chicken classica this week and it was disappointing. Price increased by RM1 but the portion decreased.

There used to be enough filling, but when I poked it with my fork this time the whole wrap unravelled because there wasn't enough meat inside. I was poking air. Coleslaw also watery, quality really fell off from last month.

The wrap still tastes good, but not as filling anymore and it was a disappointing experience. Might not go...
