McDonald's Gurney Plaza — Restaurant in George Town

I paid my order by cash at the cashier. Then the change should be RM 5.20. BUT, here's what triggers me to lower the star rating for the service quality. I should get the change of RM 5.20 , BUT the cashier only handed me RM 0.20 . I complained, and she refused to listen. So, I asked to see the Manager. After I explained my payment, he admitted, apologized, and handed me the RM 5 banknote. That cashier who disappointed me, was a Muslim woman wearing a hijab. And she, didn't...

If i had a choice to give a less rating than a single star, believe me.. i would do in a heartbeat. Staff are incredibly rude.. while talking to them and placing an order.. the guy just turned his back and walked away laughing with his team member.. just stood there hanging while 4 mcdonalds staff were just hanging there infront of the cashier counter doing absolutely nothing. I complained to the branch supervisor about what happened and she couldnt care any less..

Long story short. I hope some higher McDonald's personnel hear about this and do something about the level of professionalism they have there..

There's another McDonald's just on the other side of the street which has way much better trained staff and friendlier...

The business must have been too good that we can see a drop in their service. One of the table-service crews purposely worn her mask below her chin and she was happily talking with other crews while waiting for them to fill the tray before she could bring the food to the awaiting customers. How much of her saliva had gone into other people’s food? I wonder what had happened to basic common sense hygiene? The hot chocolate could have been better shaken up.
