Nasi Kandar Nasmir (Jelutong) — Restaurant in George Town

They have plenty of food choice here. Depends on what you want, it can either be a hit or a miss.

I tried their nasi kandar here. Took curried chicken, black beef and okra with rice and kuah campoq banjir. Taste wise the nasi kandar was decent. Not the best nasi kandar in jelutong, but it's still delicious to eat. The mixed gravy was thick and rich in herbs and spices, but they could add more of the black beef gravy into the mix. The black beef was savoury and gives that extra kick to the flavour. Price for nasi kandar is not cheap but not exorbitant as well.

Also tried their cheese naan set. I was a bit disappointed as the naan does not have proper cheese inside it. They slathered the naan with cheese cream instead. If they put cheese in the naan, the amount must be meagre because I couldn't taste it. The tandoori chicken that comes with the set was tasty.

The fish and chips here was quite good. The fish they used is well seasoned and the batter was not overcooked. The sauce gave a nice flavour to the dish. Iced coffee here was good as well.

This restaurant is so clean and tidy. The friendly attitude from each restaurant assistant impresses me. Omgosh, they are so friendly and super duper kind. A lot of variety of food, from chicken curry, fried chicken marinated with masala spice, vegetables cook in special way.

This restaurant is farmous for Nasi Kandar, especially and delicious curry Indian style. Not just they serve Nasi Kandar but also roti canai, murtabak, roti sardine, and fried noodle.

You can buy cake here too. Many selections of cake you can choose, they cut the cake into slices.

love the simplicity of the meal, it’s fulfilling and delicious! the portion looks small in the picture because they have a MASSIVE plate. nasi goreng biasa, telur dadar, and limau ais here for 11.85 for a full stomach until the next morning🤣

atmosphere is like basic mamak but it feels a bit small. they provide cushioned and non cushioned seat, which is cool to see at a mamak. i’ll be back to try more dishes, especially when the naans look very appetizing. a lot of people...
