Navy Specialty Coffee - Tanjung Tokong — Restaurant in George Town

I always heard good reviews of Bayan Lepas branch but I haven’t visit yet. I decided to give it a try to this newly branch open nearby my house. It’s quite disappointing after visiting the cafe. I am well aware of it is not easy to run F&B business and also the newly open cafe services will be overwhelms by the large number of patronage. However, I do hope the cafe management take serious consideration on manage the food quality, services and also the waiting time for the food and beverage. Here’s some feedback for the cafe management: It took me one hour plus to get my drinks and food. My friend and I sat there one hour without any ordered drinks have been served. I think it would be kind to serve the customers drinks first before the main meal ready. I do not know the concept behind of the Salmon Yuzu Donburi. In my thought, I expected the rice is served in warm but It’s turned out that the rice served is in not hot or warm. Besides that, I think the Nanban sauce is too much for the dish. Is it supposed to be that much? Correct me if I’m wrong. The hamburger rice disappointed us a lot. The dish is the cafe signature. It’s written in the menu. We expected the soy sauce should be served separately from the dish but it turned out the rice is soaking in the soy sauce. The meat also overly fried. We requested a bowl to pour out the excessive soy sauce as the sauce makes the dish too salty and causing us can’t eat it. Please have a cashier standby at the counter. It would be helpful to have a cashier standby there to help the customer who choose to pay at counter and avoid to keep them waiting. The staffs are attentive and helpful. It’s just that they are too overwhelmed with the large crowd of people. Do hope the cafe management team able to find ways to improve their service and food quality when they have to served a large number...

A beautiful place with great impression. Rather disappointed with the 2 mains that we ordered - Hainanese Chicken Katsu & Pork Belly rice. Firstly the presentation of the Pork Belly wasnt appealing and added to it, the taste was so blend. It’s like topping the eggs and the pork belly on plain cooked rice. The Hainanese Chicken Katsu was also not tasteful , a fusion went wrong. The consolation is the mushroom tacos- delicious but could be better if the Tacos were warmed up. I ordered Basil Pesto but after the order was taken, staff informed it’s not available. They should inform the diner before hand.

I had tried their food at Bayan Lepas outlet which had great variety and good taste but unfortunately not for this outlet. Hopefully, they will look into improving cos the place is really...

Very disappointed, and I won’t be coming back.

The first time I came, the staff told me they were temporarily closed due to a lack of water. Okay, I understood that, so I didn’t get to experience your food, drinks, or atmosphere at all.

The second time I came, the staff told me there were no seats because it was full, and I would need to wait an hour. I understood that too. But what I can’t understand is why the outdoor seating wasn’t available, as the staff said it was temporarily closed because there was no function. Yet, on social media, you mainly promote the outdoor view, which is exactly why I came.
