Disappointing Experience - Leftovers Mishap

I recently attended a birthday party organized by my family member for his son at this cafe. While the ambiance and initial service seemed promising, our overall experience left much to be desired.

The party was scheduled from 5 pm to 10 pm, and around 9 pm, the cafe crew requested that to keep all the leftover food, as their kitchen was closing. We agreed, assuming they would pack everything for us. However, when we later asked for the leftovers, we were informed that the kitchen crew had already left and the food was locked away.

To our surprise, they said that if we wanted the leftovers, they would have to call the kitchen crew back to open and pack the food. As customers who had spent a substantial amount on the event, it seemed only fair that we should be able to take the food we paid for.

When we expressed our disappointment and insisted on retrieving the leftovers, the cafe staff claimed they could only provide 10 boxes. This was incredibly frustrating since the event cost us a significant sum, and we expected to have access to the entire amount of leftover food.

Adding to our dismay, we were later informed that we could only take food from the ground floor kitchen, with the first floor kitchen being locked and no one is coming to open the kitchen for us to take the leftover.This revelation shocked us further, as we had paid for the food and should have been able to access it without any restrictions.

Furthermore, we find it completely unacceptable that the cafe's service crew reached out to us, requesting the removal or deletion of bad reviews shared by my family members. As consumers, we have the right to express our honest opinions and experiences, whether positive or negative. Such attempts to suppress negative feedback raise concerns about the cafe's commitment to transparency and customer satisfaction.

In conclusion, I am deeply disappointed with the handling of the leftovers situation at this café. As customers, we expected better service and fairness in providing what we had paid for. Environment is quiet and soothing. Food so so only. We ordered Truffle Mushroom Pizza, Salted Egg Chicken Don and fried shrimp during the visit. Here are the food reviews us. Truffle Mushroom Pizza : 1/5 star only. Very disappointed. The main expectations here is the truffle taste. It's totally taste like normal mushroom pizza only. We did ask the person in-charged if kitchen forgotten to put truffle paste as 5 of us did not taste the truffle. The guy denied it and informed that their kitchen follow sop and high QC from HQ..bla..bla.their kitchen used truffle oil instead of paste. Okay,...we just up the mushroom pizza and left. (The menu written truffle paste....now twitched and turned pulak)

Fried shrimp: 5/5 stars. We like it. It's spicy and big shrimp. Good texture and not overcooked.

Salted Egg Chicken Don: 5/5. Very filling with the portion. Probably a bit salty for me, but nevermind, it's written salted egg. So, acceptable.

Price slightly pricey ya. Overall experience is just ok. Revisit?...
