I do not recommend.

Why?

It's just my experience, but I would just never come here again.

Female waiters was really friendly and quickly prepared our table. We arrived 1 hour before the closing time and we didn't really feel welcomed, there were still a dozen table sitting around and drinking at the time.

And who I assume is a head staff sat across us and rushed us to place the order. We didn't really look through the menu. His tone felt threatening to me. In the menu, salted egg fried squid is RM16, Chef recommended tofu RM40 (cutthroat price??)

Order two dish mentioned above and a "butter cream chicken" (which we checked with the head staff, he said they do have something similar with butter cream chicken but it's not with sauce. More like a fried chicken and we went for it)

The taste was just basic. I couldn't say good. We decided to take out our food and when we went to pay at the counter, the price for our dishes are different from what we saw in the menu (and I'm very certain that I didn't misread the price in the menu). The squid was RM36 and tofu was RM17 or around that range. The chicken is actually ginger fried chicken and nothing about it is related to butter.

When we were leaving, there was an Indian man asking us to leave quickly. We're very confused by the gesture he made but it's definitely not meant to be friendly. Not sure where he came from but seems like he's a part of the staff team.

Not recommended due to the staff attitude. Can go to another food court place which also includes a sea view if that's...

Bad experience at the restaurant.

Staffs were rude and ignorant. Impatient, raised their voice and showed attitude when we asked a few more questions just to clarify the items we want to order.

Ordered 5 items but was served 4 items first and waited for about 30 mins for the steamed fish. The staffs were patronising and kept saying 5 more mins for a few times before the fish was finally served.

By the time the fish was served, we almost finished eating other dishes. And for the worst, the steamed fish was not cooked properly. Cutting into the fish, we could see redness in the flesh near the bone indicating the flesh was uncooked and sticked to the bone. Suspected they froze the fish and didnt thaw it properly before steaming it.

Upon checking with the manager, he looked at the fish for a few seconds and said becos of CNY let's not make a scene and gave us a discount for the fish. When the bill came, he only gave 10% discount for their mistake.

If the item is like RM20/30, then I forgive them but the fish was an expensive item (weighed around 1.2kg, around RM170) we were expecting it to be good and cooked properly. To our dissapointment, this will be the last visit to the place knowing they just dont take pride in serving their customers the best dining experience.

The only 1 star they deserve is for the inchi kabin fried...

The worst service in Penang… we checked in mysejahtera at 7.04pm. order at around 7.10pm. Around 7.45pm when we saw 3 tables which come later than us already get their food, we ask the waitress where is our food, then they say coming soon. Another waitress asked us what are we waiting and we explained and she told us same thing ‘coming soon’. After waiting another 10minutes we decided to leave. A waiter come and try to apologize because of not enough staff but we ask him why they serve those come later then us. That is not enough staff issue. We thought we want to give them a chance but there come a lady without uniform accuse us that we just ordered at 7.45pm. Wow! She said she got the record we just ordered at 7.45pm! We said we got record too by showing them our Mysejahtera checkin time but she keep arguing with us many times saying they got the record we just ordered at 7.45pm. Never admit mistakes! Arrogant! This is the reason we immediately left and write this review. We suspect the waitress who take the order forgot to pass our order to the kitchen when we order at around 7.10pm but at 7.45pm when we ask for our order, then only she pass to the kitchen. The worst part is they never admit their mistakes but accuse their customer. 1st restaurant that doing that to customer and also 1st bad...

We went here because it sounded nice from the reviews. The view from here and the general setup of the restaurant are nice at first blush. One big problem is that there is a stench from the ocean here due to it being a bit stagnant from the modifications that have been made recently near Penang. The service was the bright spot as they have a lot of staff that are eager to serve. The prices are quite high for a restaurant in Penang, which would be Ok, but the food was really bad for the most part. We ordered Pomfret fried and it was so over done it was barely edible. We also got the squid which was greasy and also over done with not much flavor. We had a fried noodle dish which was actually fairly good and a seaweed soup which was the highlight of the meal. Our meal with those items and 3 cans of tiger came out to 198 MYR (very high price for here). Like many of the bad mannered Chinese restaurants here they put some snacks on your table and some wet wipes that they try to charge you for. Also they charge you for the basic tea they give you without saying they are charging for it. This is NOT a place I would recommend or ever come back to. Too many good restaurants here to bother with this place.

I am from Ipoh but now residing in Singapore. Last week, myself, husband and friends from Singapore and Hong Kong decided to dine here upon recommendation from a friend. We ordered a star garouper fish, 2 mantis prawns and 3 very small crabs (all live from the fish tank). We also ordered soup and a vegetable dish. Food and service were acceptable until the fish was served. It tasted "fishy" for a live fish that was supposedly out of a tank. After a few mouthful, my husband decided to walk back to the tank. He was shocked to find the same fish that he had picked out earlier still swimming in the tank. He immediately spoke to the server and they offered not to charge us the dish or cook the fish that he had picked earlier. Of course my husband chose not to pay for the dish. Because of this incident, we felt that they overcharged us for other items on the bill - the crabs, water, napkins etc. The restaurant is situated on beach front and by 6:30 pm.. while there was still daylight, no more than 10 meters away from the restaurant, we spotted approximately 10 rats were running on the beach. In conclusion, it has been a very unpleasant dining experience.
