I was here because I saw they were featured by Penang foodie. There were only 7-8tables in the shop. All were occupied. First thing I noticed was that there were many tables that are not yet served. I was thinking in my mind either their turn over is so fast or they are slow server. As it turns out, the latter is the accurate prediction. There are only two pitiful small stoves that cooks both dry and soup BKT. Almost every table will order 1 dry and 1 soup. We waited at the side for 15 mins for a table. When we finally sat down, a young lady (the person who supposedly take the order) passed us by. Second time, I asked her who to order from, she told me to wait. After 10 mins of wait, she is still moving here and there not doing anything. While we were waiting, she couldn't even take our drinks order. No drinks no food. You can see other tables have waited until their necks are sticking out glaring at the stove. After half an hour, I lost my patience, went to the lady and asked her politely again who should I order from? She said.. wait ah wait ah.. while she was busy looking at her mobile phone. They are soooo not ready to cater for the crowd. Imagine half an hour wait, still got 4 more tables no BKT. Have to wait how long oh? Definitely paid to be featured. Cannot come if...

Good food must wait, and when it's served, it's a delight to the taste. Have been wandering the Malaysia landscape for good herbal Bak Kut Teh and saw this while scrolling through the list. It can be hard to spot, but they have a good variety to choose from.

As the soup is freshly cooked, they need to heat the soup from start to finish. Since it was lunchtime, there wasn't a big crowd so the food was served without much delay. You can already smell the fragrance of the broth since they freshly boiled the stock with the bones and the taste was rejuvenating!

The sides are delicious as well, the meat is so tender it just slides right off the bone. The pork is soft and chewy and the spring rolls are well made.

Even though the weather is hot, the place for eating is quite cooling! But do note the seatings quite limited and if peak hour may be crowded and hard to order.

Very satisfying and highly...

Herbal & dry BKT were both good, very hearty and full of flavours.

Would have been a solid 5 stars if not for the lady who glared at us with her full black face just because we entered 5mins before they opened. I checked with the young guy if they are open for business when I noticed her glare, to which he said they will be ready in 10mins but we can go in and wait. But the lady proceeded to serve our table later with attitude, and generally was very unfriendly which made the dining experience uncomfortable.

I genuinely don’t see what’s the problem at all when: There’s no one at all with plenty of seats Path to enter was clearly open for people to walk in We were not rushing to order, or for our orders to be ready

If you are not ready to have customers sitting inside, please block off the path or just politely tell people to wait and queue outside. It’s really...

Herbal bah kut teh here was pretty good, while the soup was not the best that we have tried in Malaysia, the sides, rice as well as the pork was amazing 1. Pork pieces are all tender and amazing, the pieces are all fall off bone tender 2. The yam rice here is exceptional, but please note that if you come abit later like us we weren't able to get that many bowls 3. You Tiao here is amazing, not too oily, not too fried which made it the perfect texture to absorb the juices Overall, the price here is relatively more expensive then compared to other dishes around Penang area, but it is because the meat used is more expensive. Would still strongly recommend you guys to go crazy on the garlic, chili and black soy sauce which just elevates the whole dish to the next level
