Tai Hong Kopitiam is a new addition to the scene, boasting a spacious and clean environment. While the initial impression is positive, a few hiccups marred the dining experience. The ordering app proved to be a major hurdle. Many dishes were difficult to search, and the app itself was slow, leading to frustration. The inexperience of the staff was also evident. Service was slow, with delays in order taking, food delivery, and table clearing. Despite these shortcomings, the food itself showed promise. The nasi lemak was a standout, with flavorful fried meat. The curry laksa, though standard, had a noticeable spice level. The coffee, however, was a highlight, offering a rich and flavorful brew. Parking proved to be a challenge, especially on a busy Sunday morning.
Tai Hong Kopitiam has the potential to be a great addition to the local dining scene. With improvements in their ordering system and staff training, they can significantly enhance the customer experience. I am optimistic about their future and will likely return to try their other offerings.
Management should prioritize addressing the technical issues with the ordering app and invest in comprehensive staff training. I hope this...
Read moreVery bad. This time I had a very bad experience. First of all, I clearly ordered hot food, but I was given cold food. I told the staff but they didn't change it. I'm fine with that. When the food came, I found a small mosquito on the egg. I told the staff and they changed it. That's ok. When I went to check out and prepared to talk about the water problem, the cashier didn't say a word but gave me the bill and asked me to pay. He didn't respond to my questions. In the end, I didn't want to say it again. Anyway, I won't come next time. Your company should improve the level of hiring people. At least hire employees who can listen to customers' demands and feedback, instead of just listening without answering, giving me the bill and urging me to...
Read moreOur usual breakfast spot was closed that morning, so we drove around looking for an alternative and came across Tai Hong Kopitiam. The place looked busy and had decent reviews, so we decided to give it a shot.
The menu looked great, with lots of options that got us excited, maybe also because we were quite hungry. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to expectations. The kaya butter toast lacked flavor, and the wanton noodles were overcooked. It was missing that firm, springy texture I usually enjoy.
It was disappointing overall. At least we tried something new, but we won’t be coming back. Fingers crossed our regular spot stays...
