Overpriced pomfret fish steamboatā750g of not-so-fresh fish for $150! The fish was dry and tasted terrible! š The entire meal cost $210 for just three disappointing dishes, all in a coffee shop setting swarming with houseflies. Definitely a hit-and-run business with no intention of sustainability.

Hi Business Owner,
Thank you for your prompt reply.
Since we were dining at a Malaysian restaurant, the currency was naturally in Malaysian Ringgit. I find it amusing that highlighting the currency would make any real difference to the issue at hand.
I mentioned that the place was swarming with housefliesānot to compare it to a five-star establishment, but simply to describe my experience. My apologies if my words were misinterpreted; I never said the restaurant was dirty or unsanitary.
I understand that pomfret can be expensive, and I have no issue paying for a fresh one. However, I personally saw your staff take the fish out of the freezer, clearly frozen. Charging such a high price for frozen fish is unjustifiable, and I believe future diners deserve to be aware of this.
Hope these clarifies!

We didnāt finish the whole pot of steamboat and dishes ya. I didnāt show a picture of the unfinished food as this is unnecessary. We dined at 5ish in the late noon and I posted immediately we left your restaurant. I know there is no LIVE pomfrets in restaurant. Sorry should be clearer in my message, itās clearly that the fish we had had been frozen for long period.
FYI, I am not asking for any refunds here. I am all good for spending that amount of money for the 3 dishes. The purpose of this platform I believe is for business owner and consumers to be aware of whatās out there. Business owner can work on it to improve and prevent future same reviews. Consumers will have what to expect for.
Am not here to have a keyboard war with you ya.
