The staff is attentive and quick to serve dishes. Place is nicely decorated and l like the fact that they gave us, 2 pax only a big table. Supported them by ordering more.
The chicken pork tripe soup we ordered a medium and the staff was alert and asked if we wanted the medium size as there was small for 2 pax. Told her we wanted medium so that there is more ingredients. After the meal, we thought better to order small the next time and add pork tripe. Reason being medium pork is much more chicken than pork tripe.
Soup is clear tasting and taste herbal. Not the hot peppery kind. Pot of soup is big enough for us so no need refill.
The claypot sausage rice is most wonderfully done. The sausage is sweet and has a good bite. Rice has the right texture.
Skewers were not too good for me. Firstly the cumin and china spice taste is lacking and the veins of the mutton was not cut, thus meat was a bit hard to chew. Boss was cool with the feedback.
Must order : claypot sausage rice Can skip : skewers, basic spice and marination not well done but they...

The Pork Tripe Chicken Hotpot was not like the usual peppery pork tripe soup, it has its own taste, a little milder but definitely a must try. The pot rice is a bit too salty for me but still acceptable and overall a pleasant meal experience. The pot rice would need to wait for 25mins (indicated in the menu) but it felt pretty quick. We went on a Thursday night, around 8:15pm, the small tables ate all occupied. There are other big tables available. The distance between the tables are spacious....
