Yay: Winter melon soup was pleasantly refreshing You can choose 1 potong ice cream from lots of choices Meat slices were freshly cut
Nay: The restaurant is clearly not prepared to handle the crowd. Our soup came with coconut juice, waitress asked us if we want to have the coconut flesh scooped out, we said yes and after that we didn’t see the flesh anymore. Upon asking, which we already finished the food, they say oh someone took it back to the kitchen, scooped it, and forgot which table it was for. They just keep forgetting things. We had to ask for soup ladder and they apologised for forgetting. Forgot to serve us the pork balls which was part of the set we ordered. When it came the balls were frozen, after cooked it was very hard. Had only one piece and that’s it not gonna finish them. Ring roll was not fresh, you can smell the rancid oil Ordered lamb and beef skewers, again waited until we finished our hotpot, reminded them twice and finally it came but it was bad. Like BAD, dry, drenched in oil, lamb was very gamey and lamby. The taste was just unacceptable. You can only order them in min 5 sticks. So we had to order 5 beef and 5 lamb we ate 3 and just couldn’t make ourselves eat more although we didn’t want to waste food. It was that bad. To make it worse, when paying our bill, we told the reception the skewers tasted bad, she answered, oh izit? And then proceeded with the bill and didn’t bothered to respond to the feedback given. The feedback was not even given in a joking tone, it was serious.

The service was impeccable throughout our whole experience there. The staffs was friendly and accommodating; recommending us what to order when we were unsure. We were sweating non stop from the heat of the hot pot. 🥵 The staffs noticed it and immediately pushed a portable aircon blowing towards our direction. Greatly appreciate it! 🙏🏻
We ordered their must-try signature soup, winter melon and coconut soup! It had a light herbal taste packed with a punch of savoury and sweet aftertaste. There is also sets and a plethora of ingredients for you to choose from; from ala carte hot pot ingredients to bbq sticks (烤肉串).
Definitely quality yet affordable hot pot place to satisfy hotpot cravings! I will be back to try other...
Read moreIt is only fair why I thought it was only 2 stars. The portions were pretty small and the prices are $$$. While the winter melon is a good addition with the coconut water I think it was gimmicky with not much improvement on taste. Cooking my own food is already one thing….
I don’t think it’s very good value for money and especially underwhelming was the meagre bbq beef skewers. I should have taken a picture of the slivers ….yes slivers of beef that was probably as “thick” as the skewers it was wound around. Charging $18 for 5 was almost borderline ludicrous because I could easily find any stick of beef satay anywhere else that was thicker than what was served.
Very disappointing experience and I’m not...
