Very skilful and legendary half boiled egg. The freshness is beyond words. As if the hens baru lay eggs at back alley n fresh from farm to table. No joke. Nvr know half boiled egg can be this delicious until I encountered this shop. N tat nasi Padang, pls pls pls try the beef tendon, I dunno how they simmer it to be so balance on the notes of being soft yet chewy. If u don’t take beef, rendang chicken is on point for the spices, like u won’t taste curry powder but herbs, imagine that omg. Last but not least, the minced chilli paste (not sambal) just bring all flavours to heaven. Limited seats, be patient to wait, quick turnover. Prices r listed on wall including individual dishes for nasi Padang, egg, drinks, roti bakar etc for your reference. Difficult parking nearby so can park at UTC n walk over. It’s a very harmony 1 Malaysia shop. Nasi Padang uncle was sharing how sweet his customers had been following him to wherever he moved to n bringing next generation. I definitely see the reason behind loyalty. If u read this review, it’s ur destiny to give...
Read more5 pcs of brinjal ( photo top right, each RM1)+nasi@RM3+two other dishes (scoops of bean sprout buried by long beans with fried tofu cubes@RM4 each based on the amount)---all very subjective cooked-food lunch @ RM5+3+4+4=RM16 paid on Thu 25 July 2024.
After pointing to the wall board menu (which showed rice@RM2)and asking the young stall-holder(who actually scooped and placed the nasi on paper for me), I actually got back RM1 cash. It was the older man who 'did the sums' and simply assumed nasi to be a big portion @RM3---it was not about RM 1 or 2, but we already felt the bad after-taste of 'secret overcharging'. Will not come back -- there are many other good places waiting...

The good👍. Bread Toast (butter and kaya) Bun Toast (butter and kaya) Soft boil eggs Kopi C kosong Mee robus
The bad Nasi lemak. Too little selection to choose from compared to the nearby competitor which has more varieties. Chicken is very dry and small. Please note that the beef is charging by per cube/chunk (RM 5) Hence ended up paying the plate of nasi lemak( with 4 cube of beef, 1egg and 2pcs of bean curb) RM24. Some beef was soft some was tough. (Inconsistent)
Overall, the price here is a bit pricey. There is better nasi lemak...
