Hotel JB — Hotel in Johor

Well I check in this hotel , with 100 Rm. Welcome by old women . Not allow to view room and no sample photo of the room . Then when I enter the lift , it nice up to date . When the door of the lift open .OMG , the floors ceramic tile remain 60s . Enter the room .air conditioner is unadjustable .the temperature is fix . No place to charge ur smart phone unless you need plug off from the TV. Old model fan with 1-5 speed . The bathroom remain old school. The ownner remain old school way for bath .the only investment just for light and TV is up to date . And it bed sheet it tarible . Obvious cigarate mark in hole . So the atmosphere not ladies friendly because it feel spooky during night time .lucky for me , no supertious activities going on. The only satisfying me is the TV is clear and space is wide enough for 5 person live in that room . The only hotel in JB which allows check in as early as 1 PM as stated on Agoda. No deposit needed! Just a short walk from JB City Square and the CIQ checkpoint to Woodlands. Looks like it’s a Malay-owned hotel since the friendly makcik and staff are all Malays. Worth supporting. WiFi is fast even on the top floor. And it has wide windows for perfect lighting.

Most rooms need a card to keep the power on, but here you don’t, so you can leave your gadgets charging even when you’re out. Spacious room and very clean bathroom! Water pressure is strong, heater works well, and the aircond is nicely cold (no remote control though).

For RM 100 (about SGD 15), can’t really complain. Many taxis right outside so easy to go anywhere. Just note there’s no bottled water provided, and toiletries only include body soap, so best to bring your own. Only UK power outlet available and quite far from bed, so bring...
