Premium pricing but food was just average, with this kinda price point, u can get better food somewhere else. For food with this kinda quality and taste, i would prefer to go to Warakuya.
Service is quite bad and inflexible. The 2 of us shared one menu while another table with just one guy sitting down has 9 menus on the table just because he reserved a table for 9 pax but only one pax was present. Best part is by the time we done ordering, his friends still not here yet. Not sure if its the restaurant policy or the waitress is inexperienced.
Another thing is that the chef stationed outside the kitchen was wearing both sides of his earbuds all the time when we were dining there. Really? So this is your standard i guess.
Im also in the f&b field and to me this is quite unacceptable as u should have enough menu for at least 10-15 pax at a time or if u dont have enough menu, u should prioritize those who are present. And most importantly is that you should not be wearing earbuds while at work, this just shows how unprofessional u are.
This is my first and also last time here. Definitely wont...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAesthetically the place looks great! Theyāve got that spot on.
Other than that, Iād say thereās more to achieve when it comes to the food.
Ordered the food below:
Salmon Nori Bomb: I can say that this was the only dish that was worth getting in the restaurant.
Ramen: The broth seemed absolutely watered down, and it honestly didnāt seem like Ramen at all. Whatās more it resembled more of a Chinese chicken noodle soup.
Salmon and Unagi Dons: The prices are reasonable but, the taste isnāt there. A small slice of unagi for a don Buru and thatās pretty much it. With the Salmon and Avocado donburi, you could literally count the number on tiny avocado pieces.
Maki: Salmon was pretty fresh and overall it tasted decent.
Price: It is rather reasonable with each dish costing an average of RM15-30, but the taste has got to improve.
Would I return? Probably not. For a place thatās newly opened , I wouldāve expected the quality of food...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA No Pork, No Lard Japanese Donburi & Ramen shop. I asked a Muslim staff whether the shop suppliers are Halal, and she said yes they are.
The ramen broth is made using Chicken and Seafood - the broth flavour is quite strong and delicious, especially if you are craving chicken soup. The portion served is just right. It might look like a small portion if you are a big eater, but you will not go hungry after your meal.
We tried the Kyudon Salmon Roll, Kyudon Chicken Ramen and Unagi Tamago Don. The ramen itself was like normal mee but tastes good. Unagi was slightly smaller than what I expected, and cucumbers were quite larger than bite sized. Overall, we had a good meal at the restaurant, and will be back to try other dishes.
Diners are strongly recommended to call/message the shop earlier to reserve a place as seats are extremely limited. They will only hold the reserved seats for 10 minutes at your reserved time, so please...
