裕豐海味 Yu Feng Hai Wei — Restaurant in Johor

Arrived at the this outlet by 7.50pm and asked if we are still able to go for their buffet. The service staff told us that we are allowed to order till 9.30pm. So both of us tried their buffet but was really disappointed. Ordered our food at 8.02pm around 10dishes and it took 1 hour plus just for these 10 small dishes to be served to us. We went from hungry to waiting until full. Totally no more appetite while waiting for our 10dishes to arrive. For those who wants to try their buffet should really think twice before coming here. Price is high and for not being able to enjoy their dishes on time coz of their slow service. Ordered 2 desserts and one of the desserts had an extra ingredients which was the servers thumb sticking inside the dessert while serving to us. Didn't he feel the coldness at his thumb while serving us the dessert??? Rm400 for just 10 small dishes is definitely not worth it at all. Not in the mood to take their pictures. Just an over rated venue. In the end we just asked the service staff to cancel whatever dishes which were not out and left the outlet while paying the full buffet...

The food is nice and the price is reasonable.

However, the waiting time for the food to be serviced is extremely long. We placed the order via QR code at 1422hr and the last dish - salted egg crab was only serviced at 1521hr. We waited 1 hour for our food despite i reminded the waiter twice during that one hour as we noticed two other customers got their crabs even they came after me.

Understand from the previous posts in google that the management was looking into customer feedback seriously. I approached to cashier friendly and highlighted my encounter and requested to have some sort of compensation due to the long waiting. But the quick answer from the cashier was "we do not do that", then started to give me all reasons for the delay which did not sound reasonable to me at all. It gave me a totally dissapointed and different experience from what management posted in previous google feedback.

So please go there only when you have plenty of time. I also could not imagine whether you will get all your ordered food in time if you take buffet from...

Buffet is unethical.

Went for the lunch buffet for 4 pax. Did not go during the closing hours and most of the more expensive dishes were conveniently out of stock. It was a saturday afternoon and they still runs dinner buffet.

I would have understood if its on a sunday night and I was there late but it was lunch and they still had dinner.

Ended up bring just a small abalone/frozen prawn buffet.

Just go for the ala-carte. At least if it runs out of stock, the you dont need to pay for it.

It would be acceptable if the quality of food is not as great but the buffet items are available at 2pm on a saturday. Lunch buffet runs from 12pm to 5pm.

Service staff is alright and apologized but its the management that is the one that ought...
