I am writing to express my disappointment with the experience my family and I had at your restaurant. My child, who is only 3.5 years old, has multiple food allergies and can only consume home-cooked meals. At this age, many parents may still bring their child’s meal along, and in our case it is a medical necessity. When we took out a packet drink for our child, your waitress, though diligent, insisted that “outside food was not allowed", without understanding the situation. Despite my attempts to explain that my child’s condition could trigger life-threatening anaphylaxis, something comparable to “Playing Russian Roulette”, she did not initially understand. It was only after I showed her our EpiPen that she began to apologise. However, the damage is done. I also approached the person in charge - “the boss”, but was told he was “busy,” even though he was sitting at the counter. His dismissive attitude and lack of empathy made the situation worse. For your record, both parents ordered two main dishes, a drink, and dessert. We did not shortchange the restaurant, aside from occupying a four-seat table; the only issue was that our child could not eat from your menu due to medical reasons. Unfortunately, the food was overrated, and the service demonstrated no understanding, sympathy, or basic awareness of food allergies towards a young child with allergies was extremely disappointing.

Read moreWe were a table of four and waited over 20 minutes, thinking the food might just be taking time. But then we noticed the table next to us, who arrived later after us, had already received both their food and drinks, while even our drinks hadn’t arrived yet.
So we checked in with a waiter to see what was going on. The waiter didn’t say much, but shortly after, a man wearing specs —not in uniform, likely the boss or someone in management—overheard the situation (our table was right next to the counter, TABLE 1). We explained to him that we were still waiting and that we had a seminar to attend soon.
Instead of apologizing, he rudely said, “Got seminar, tell us earlier. Why didn’t tell us?” At that point, it became clear that our order had not even been sent to the kitchen—but no one had the decency to admit the mistake or apologize for it.
We were handed a printed order slip earlier, so we assumed everything was in progress. Turns out, nothing was being prepared at all, and we were left waiting for nothing.
The food itself was decent, but the service and attitude completely ruined the experience. There’s no excuse for that kind of rudeness, especially from someone in charge. Zero apology, no accountability.

Read moreWe frequent this place quite often. Usually the food is average. Staff are usually quite friendly. But today (25 May 7PM for managers reference), there was a waitress that was SUPER RUDE. I didn’t catch her name, but it was a taller lady with ponytail and glasses.
My family and I got into the restaurant, my mum saw a vacant table and got excited and walked over to the table. The waitress asked us “how many people?” And glared at my mum when my mum approached the table. I replied her, and she gestured for us to sit at the table my mum walked towards. After that she basically tossed the menu on our table and walked off.
When we were ordering our food, she didn’t repeat our order back to us (we ordered dessert and it came along with our mains)
Tbh we’re still here but this is really bad so far.
Update: the floor manager personally came over to apologise to us after they read the review. Thank you to the managers for trying to build rapport. We will still come by next time, it was just one bad experience out of many good ones. Was just taken aback because we have been so used to good service...
