Read moreWe catered food from them on the 2nd Day of CNY 2023.
Our main starch was Chapati, and I think we ordered for 30 or 50pax.
We were given 1 chapati for 1 person. It was claimed to be 1 set per pax, and not 1 Chapati per pax.
Within 15mins of starting our lunch, we had already run out of chapati, and we had to order a top up while the Kittengi driver who had hit my BMW, had to come back and deliver us more chapati.
Yes, abit of a disaster for the second day of Chinese New Year. What a way to celebrate.
The curious thing about the one chapati per pax, is that we had a few other dishes with sauces, etc.
But apart from the 2 hiccups, the food was so, so. No where near Chakra standard, though we felt it was pricey for what we got.
When you add an inappropriate quantity of food in their package, together with being pricey, plus their driver hitting your car because he was on the phone, that’s not a good experience.
But when you add that, having agreed to settle the repairs, the past week, I have had to wrestle Kittengi bosses, to pay what is owed for me to repair the damage.
Two panels of the car was damaged. It is a scratch from the fender to the bumper. If I could polish it off, I would use that option. But I think the scratch is almost to the core of the metal.
So, I have to repaint both panels, and hope that the paint matches the old paint.
But the bosses are not interested. They treat me like a beggar, thinking that I should get what they want to pay.
Imagine, if the restaurant owners can treat their customers like that, how will they treat others?
Altogether, catering Kittengi’s food, is one of the worst decisions made...
