Sitting here sulking about my meal and decided to write a review.
Used to love coming here to end my JB, but had the worst experience today.
From the added “protein” at the sauce bar to my soup at the table. I scooped the spring onion in the bowl and was shocked by how many flies moved. 🥲
My soup was boiling and spilling out. The waiter literally stood there and let the soup “attack” me. Took the initiative to tell them the soup is boiling can they lower the fire. “They me to just throw my food in and cover with the lid. Then open the lid and take the food out.” 😭 is it I misunderstood the meaning of hotpot? Otherwise, if I want to eat one pot meal, won’t I go other place instead of here. Anyway, I tried. Then steam of coming out of the lid and the soup are spilling, waiters just walk and smile. 😭is it need me to be scalded by the soup then they come and help me?
Was looking around for the manager around, but he is having his dinner break already.
Anyways, I doubt the management even check Google reviews, if they did, they din bother to response; given the recent year’s bad reviews no responses. Nothing .
Sigh. Just wanted to post it here to warn whoever coming to be mentally prepared only. Arashi price has also increased quite significantly over the years.
Maybe consider HDL nearby or other Chinese food options bah.

Read moreLocated in Malaysia JBCC, beside City Square mall. Exit from Malaysia customs and travel on the overhead bridge towards City Square. At the junction of the overhead bridge, take a right and you will see Starbucks, walk abit further and you will see an entrance with bidirectional escalators. Travel upwards and you will arrive at Arashi's level, thereafter continue walking inwards to locate Arashi.
Arashi has been my go to brand for personal non halal hotpot in Malaysia wherever they're located. My typical order will be a set menu with their must try Arashi spicy milk soup and various additional meats. However this outlet does not have some a la carte items like duck blood. Their set menu meat served is different from their a la carte meat as the latter feels much more premium. Although the portion size for their black pork, black pork cheek and waygu beef has decreased over the years, you should still drop by and give them a try.
Special mention to their service crew for being patient, friendly and helpful. Keep up...
Read moreGreat atmosphere, service and really fresh food as what other reviewers mentioned. Ordered the barramundi and pork shabu set, gyoza, pork and shrimp balls. the portion may be small for big eaters but with great company, slow eating, it will be decent enough.
Fish was fresh, no fishy smell. Prawn ball was bouncy and great, the Japanese pumpkin ramen as carb choice was really good, self cook for a minute or two and the texture is really amazing, especially when mixed with dipping sauce. Ask the waitress what's the recommended sauce and they will recommend. The pork shabu slices were amazing as well, will come back to try their recommended tonkotsu or herbal chicken.
Special thanks to waitress Mei for the great...
