23Jun24 - we were surprised to see OCK open here. Happily, the prices are much friendlier than Singapore's! E.g. Chilli crab curry puff at RM4.90 vs SGD2.50 (^RM8.63), fried chicken wing RM5.30 vs SGD2.30 (RM7.94), sotong head onstik RM5.90 vs SGD2.30 (RM7.94). From these, savings are around 25-43%. Also, if you buy 5 items, you get a curry potato puff (worth RM3.10) free. Taste and look for the curry puffs are slightly different from the Singapore ones, though still good. Didn't like the durian balls - at least not when they were no longer piping hot. (^ Taking a conservative exchange rate of SGD1 : RM3.45.)

Newly opened outlet! The big fishballs which is my all time favourite was amazingly nice with the "springy and bouncy" texture with you bite into it. As a fan of old chang kee big fishballs, i haven eaten numerous places and past few times couldnt get this mouth feeling texture. Another aspect was that old chang kee fishballs should be from the same factory/supplier i assume? However the taste and texture of the fishballs in this outlet feels more like a handmade. The other cripsy "ngoh hiang" alike is another newer item i saw in old chang kee. Its nice:) Do go try from this outlet!

Quite disappointed with the quality here. Bought the chicken popcorn RM9.90 but it’s very floury and full of batter cannot taste the chicken. The food was also cold. They offer me to buy 5 and get 1 for free ..but after paying , they charge me for all 6 and didn't get free 1 item as mentioned. I come back and complaint after checking on receipt. Complaint goes especially to the cashier (chinese guy) who doesn't care about his work coz I clearly hear that the aunty inform him twice about the free item , but instead he charging me for all 6 items and he's not even bother to say sorry but just say to the aunty with arrogance face and voice" Oh then give him 1 lor". This is not the way you doing business by cheating people.. what if i do not check my receipt?? Best to check your receipt before you go, this Old Chang Kee have their way to make easy profit!
