It was the last day of my stay at KSL hotel, JB and I was looking forward to return to Singapore. The accident happened on 11/6/2018 around 7.45am when I was retrieving a set of cutlery from the counter as there was a shortage of manpower. On my way back to my table I tripped on one of the folded doormats lined behind the dining tables. A few of my friends held me up as I experienced sharp pain in my right wrist. One of the diners scolded the staff and all the folded doormats were removed quickly. Nobody from the Hotel or Cafe made any apology or attended to me. One of my friends who is a doctor bandaged my forearm and gave me panadols. I waited for the coach to return to Singapore and immediatelt went to A&E at Singapore General Hospital. The xray revealed a wrist fracture on my right hand. It has been difficult doing things with one hand and even more challenging when it is my right wrist that has fractured. The consultant said it was a bad fall. What is the management of KSL hotel and cafe going to do to compensate me for my suffering, pain and expenses incurred? What steps are they taking to look into the negligence of the staff and the maintenance of the place where safety of the customers are concerned? A grievous...

Read moreUpdate 6 December 2023 : Food standards have dropped tremendously.KSL management should not only look into this matter via reading complaints on social medias, but they themselves should 1st hand taste all the food. Its such a waste having large variety of ingredients,to end as a wastage because of its taste.Since day 1 i come to eat the buffet, the prawns is never fresh and mushy. All the talk also no point.KSL management please come and eat physically and see for yourselves.
This msg is for my fellow singaporeans. Dont expect salt-bae/gordon ramsay standards when ure paying just a mere RM42 ringgit. The standards are reasonably acceptable, though not perfect.
My verdict Food : 7.8/10. Service : 10/10. Ambience : 10/10. (Except for some occasional grumpy patrons who act rich but go to a cheap buffet and still want to grumble about the food...
