Nasi Ikan Curry 3 Vege Set Meal = RM22.00 Ayam Curry Sepiring = RM8.00 Fish / Ikan Cutlet = RM5.00 Tea-C-Halia Kosong = RM5.00 No Service Charge
When I was there on a Monday Afternoon, this place was Packed with Customers who looked like Local JB Office Folks. Its Air-Conditioned and there is a Delicious Fried Aroma in the Air.
As I stepped in, I was warmly greeted by the Staffs. They are very Friendly and Welcoming which gave me a Very Good First Impression. Very Nice 1st Customer Entry Experience.
Teh-C-Halia Kosong = RM5.00 This tasted Nice and Creamy although because its Teh-C-Halia Kosong, I feel the Ginger Heat Taste is Considerably Mild. Still Nice though.
Nasi Ikan Curry 3 Vege Set Meal = RM22.00 This Set consists of a Scoop of White Rice + 3 Assorted Veggies + 1 Curry Fish
Nothing special about the Rice, its just Standard Jasmine White Rice. Standard Look, Standard Texture, Standard Taste.
Mixing the 3 Curries into this tasted So Good! If you enjoy eating Curries, you will most likely enjoy them too. I even thought the Papadam Cracker has a Nice Delicious 油香味 to it.
White Cabbage Veggie Scoop Nicely Salted with a Prominent Taste of Bellpepper and a Savoury Taste. Slightly Soft but still abit Firmish Veggie Crunch.
Long Bean Veggie Scoop The Taste of the Long Bean tasted a Tad Strong. Nicely Salted and Savoury with a Mild Spiciness.
Yellow Mashed Pumpkin Veggie Scoop Has a Very Indian-Styled Taste using Fennel Seeds. Served Warm and the Pumpkin had a Slight Stringy Fibrous Bite Texture.
The Curry Fish This had a Soft Bite Texture. Not at all Fishy, it was Melt in the Mouth. The Fish Curry tasted Very Creamy and Not 重口味. Spiciness is Mild and won't Bite your Tongue. Delicious.
Ayam Curry Sepiring = RM8.00 This was a Piece of Thigh. Meat was Soft and Tender and has a Strong Indian-Styled Taste of Fennel and Mustard Seeds. Curry has a Nice Creamy Texture and Spiciness is Mild.
Fish / Ikan Cutlet = RM5.00 Looks like a Big Fat Bergedil. Freshly Fried, the Outer Skin has a Soft Crispy 脆脆 Bite Texture. Inner Filling is Hot and Soft and is a Mix of Fish, Potatoes and Veggies. I felt the Ratio of Fish and Potato were mixed just right. Taste is Savoury and Salty but not Overly Salty.
Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
RM5.00 (S$1.60) for the Teh-C-Halia Kosong is not bad but the Ginger Taste is a Tad Mild for me. Next time must order Normal Teh-Halia Kosong for More Gingery Oomph.
RM22.00 (S$6.70) for the Nasi Ikan Curry Set is worth it because you're getting a Piece of Curry Fish here. I loved its Soft Texture that didn't have any 鱼腥味 Fishiness. Banjiring the 3 Curry Sauces to eat together with Rice was Delicious!
RM8.00 (S$2.50) for this Chicken Curry Thigh is not really worth because I thought it was a Tad Small. It taste Decent though. If you don't mind the price, sure go ahead and add it.
RM5.00 (S$1.60) for that Fried Fish Cutlet is worth it. Amount of Fish Meat is Substantial and it taste good. Worth to add as a Side Dish.
At a Total Combined Price of RM40.00 (S$12.00) may look expensive, but if you were to shave off both the Teh Halia and Curry Chicken, it will bring price down to RM27.00 (S$8.20) which will be more affordable. The fact that they don't charge any Service Taxes is a Nice Bonus.
It was how Friendly and Patient the Staffs were and how Welcome they made me feel here.
If you are not Conversant in Malay, it is Challenging to order. Despite how Awkward it was to use Google Translate when ordering my Food, I am Most Appreciative that they did not act Annoyed or Frustrated.
In fact the Serving Lady was so Patient and Accomodating, I felt she went out of her way to make me feel at ease here. All I could feel was that they were Genuine in assisting as best as they could and they valued me as a Customer.
My Dining Experience felt Completely Elevated. Food was Delicious and the Patient Friendly Staffs took it over the top. Highly Recommended!

Food is superb. Drinks are also very, very good. The bread (usually in the morning) and the banana leaf rice (afternoon) are something I look forward to when my family decides to drop by. Portions are above-average. Just to inform you, it is on the pricier side of the spectrum - but you'll still walk away happy. Their bergedil is a special blend and their fried fish is excellent if you come for lunch.
Service is lovely. You always feel welcomed at the restaurant. Place is clean, restroom is clean too. The only downside I'd say is there's not enough tables for ground floor. So if it's a full house, you'll have to hike up to the 1st floor.
The ambience is good. Spacing is good enough not to feel cramped and you still don't feel weird if there's a huge crowd. Kids might not have space to run about though.
Overall,...
