This cafe is like a hidden gem among (so many) cafes around Mt Austin. If it wasn't due to personal recommendation, I won't be able to go have a meal at this cafe because literally you are spoiled for choices of foods around this vicinity. The chops are reasonably priced and what's special is the whole portion of the chicken chop plate with own selection of side dishes. The black pepper chicken chop is grilled with thick black pepper gravy. The tenderness of the meat is just nice, juicy and aromatic. The crispy cheesy chicken chop on the other hand is a bit "jelak" because the chicken is deep fried and on top of that, it is layered with cheese and mayonnaise sauces. I stumbled upon this charming cafe recently and was pleasantly surprised by its cozy and stylish atmosphere.
I tried both the BBQ Cheese Chicken Chop and the Black Pepper Chicken Chop, and while both were good, the BBQ Cheese version absolutely stole the show. The flavor was rich and cheesy — definitely something I’d come back for.
