Staffs are very bad attitude. Me and my son which age of 2 years old currently had our dining at Nando Alor Setar. On 24 November 2022 8:45pm , we walked in the restaurant and one waitress served us. At first , I carried my son and also my diaper bag sat on the place that waitress asked us to sit. I asked the waitress , “Could I have a baby chair? “ but I get the response was asking me go took the baby chair on my own. I looked in the restaurant, it’s not many customers at the time. But I asked her again , “Am I taking the baby chair on my own? I need to leave my baby on the place and I go take for the baby chair ? “ she replied me :” Yes! “ Oh such bad experience at the first. So I’m thinking so a mom carrying a baby are not allowed to dine in the restaurant ? The waitress can’t even give a favor or just helping the customer.
Okay then the waitress put the cutlery on the table, and she gone again. She never told the customer like : “ oh madam / sir , you need order using the barcode on the table. “
Who will thinking of it? If the waitress didn’t let the customer know about they need to order through the website and pay it by card or pay at counter. At the same time, I met other customers who age like 50 years old aunties , all of them also don’t know how to order and need to wait their other families came and helped them order. While they saw me complaining with the cashier , they came to me , and talk to me of their problems. How ridiculous are those staff in Nando Aman Central? There are four female waitresses at the cashier, and after I complained to them , they still didn’t took any action to help me took a baby chair. They rather stand at counter gossip. Also, this is the second thing that make me very disappointed on the experience. Because I picked pay online but the system got problem and I need pay at counter. If I come alone with my son, which means I need to leave my son at the place and I go pay at the counter ? Doesn’t make sense right?
Lmao. If the system not yet mature , please don’t released and let customer try.
Yet if today I’m not come with my son, I come by own maybe I wouldn’t leave a complaint message.
And Usually we will think the mini menu on the table is something on promotion or what recommendation for the meals, who else will think that’s got a instructions asked customer order by their own.
And Nando still collect service tax on customer and ask customer to do everything by their own.
In the end , the Alor setar branch did gave us a brownie as a compensation. But I don’t think it’s a matter after I complained with the waitresses, and they still didn’t took the baby chair for me, and finally I go took the baby chair by my own.

You can only go for walk-in only, and if you arr lucky, then you get a table, might even be separated tables, who knows.. Its all based on luck and availability..
What happen to me today 2/6/18 Called custumor service - not much help 0/5 was given number of branch(Aman Central) Called branch manager - unable to do anything despite being called "manager" 0/5 Called Regional manager (the branch manager actually gave me his personal number - not sure what unprofessional policy they have regarding this) - also unable to do anything despite being called "regional manager". 0/5 p/s the regional manager rather hung up the phone on me, rather than trying to find a solution. Another 0/5 for giving me a personal number.
In the end, i cancelled my family gathering at nandos as no assurance for me for a spot for my whole family. Who would be wanting to risk a 1-2 hour journey to eat at a place where i am not confirmed a seating place.
Lesson learned, If the company itself would not prioritize each and every customer satisfaction, they won't prioritize you, your food(which everytime I go is tasteless and bland) and your experiance at the restaurant will all turn into a bad day. I would honestly not want this to happen as nandos doesnt come cheap.
