Bad experience ever for café in Malaysia. I was there around 11.30am. First Impression; the staff who was already see me and another customers stand in front of the “order” area walked back to the preparing food area, stand and pretend didn’t us, for a while I walked to his side and “Excuse me can I order?” Okay he came; I ordered Ham and Cheese something menu and White Coffee, Ice please. He asked me, what type of payment u are, I said, card. Everything is fine. Came back to the seat outside; checked my order; oh! Why he keyed Hot coffee, I went back inside, told hi that I ordered Ice but u key it Hot, is it the same or not? Instead he will just go ahead to revise it, he said, I asked u 2 times u want hot or ice, u said hot! He keep saying that, still confirm I answered hot 2 times to him, (if I said 2 times don’t u think I remembered it!? And I am not a person who drink hot coffee, I know myself that!) for this point, if inside the shop has camera that can record the voice please check and confirm to me here! Alright, because I don’t want to keep back and forth like that with this staff, I asked; so can I change? He still say the same thing, I looked into his eyes and asked him again, can I change! He grabbed his phone open TNG app, and said, okay I knew ur order is ice, It will be ice coffee when u come to pick it up. I asked the same price, you don’t have to revise anything in receipt? He said no. Time to pick up my coffee! Yes! It’s hot coffee, he ran to said to his friend and try to change the coffee from hot to ice coffee. But at that moment was messing up, another guy with glasses gave me a coffee and look at my receipt said, ur receipt is hot coffee, for ice u need to pay another rm 1.xx, I walked to pay.
Not only one cup of coffee makes me want to write the review, but when that staff ran to change my coffee my friend was standing and waiting to order the food; that guy doesn’t go back to the order area, but the same guy with glasses was there and my friend asked to complete order, he didn’t do it, just said ah, umm, ah and walk away.
Good food at this shop I would say, but never again, and even a food was good, after the guy in the glasses walk to clean the table outside I looked at his shoes, he shoes look very dirty, restaurant, all staff’s uniforms should be cleaned? Where is the hygiene? After saw it I cannot finish my food, when I consider of the service and staff’s uniform it makes me hesitate for the shop hygiene, then I start look around, and see the upper entrance door also dirty.
I like Vietnamese coffees but good luck everyone for me and all the friends I know I will tell them not to come here and pay for this kind of service for sure!

Vibe: Very cozy and relaxing. Totally great for a chilling day, it is also welcoming for work or study. Seats are comfortable, temperature is just nice. Tables are clean. Not too noisy.
Coffee: I am not a coffee enthusiastic, but I do like to have coffee sometimes. There is never a coffee that surprised me that much before I visited this place. Let me tell you why, the beans is surely high quality, the technique and creativity is top notch. We ordered a Matcha cold foam Espresso. The foam layer is super super smooth like cloud, the temperature served is right on point, not freezing cold. When we sip the some foam and Espresso, it was so refreshing, but the fragrance of coffee is so obvious we can't ignore it. It was the best coffee experience I had. Though the name is matcha cold foam, we felt like the foam taste like pistachio. It was a perfect match.
Food: Amazing! Both mains we ordered are super nice. Sourdough bread was with the texture I always look for, toasted to crispy, with chewiness that need a little bit of biting. Greens are crisp and fresh, it's not boring. Melted cheese is so tempting, sweet potato fries are crispy and with little salt sprinkled, it balance out the sweetness. Sausages on the plate are so special, I couldn't really describe it, but we really enjoyed it. All are quality ingredients.
The barista of this cafe is a genius I think, the way he/she mix ingredient to give us a complicated but enjoyable taste and texture is beyond fantastic!
This cafe is definitely on top of my list of recommended cafe in KL. Great job. I hope this quality can be maintained.

Read moreKosa Coffee, you’ve outdone yourselves in audacity—and not in a good way. Introducing a “soft table‑service” fee feels less like an upgrade and more like a brazen shakedown. You’re literally charging customers extra for using your own tables and chairs—what’s next, a “floor‑space surcharge”?
RM14.75 for an Iced Americano was already highway robbery—outranking even Starbucks at RM9.50—but now you’ve slapped on an additional RM1.50+ just for daring to drink it in-house. That’s an eye‑watering RM16+ for a single cup of coffee. Here’s the kicker: takeaway stays at the original price, and your own baristas are telling patrons to order to‑go to avoid your ridiculous dine‑in levy. Talk about corporate incompetence and moral bankruptcy wrapped in a latte.
Your customers aren’t ATMs. We don’t appreciate being bled dry for “service” that amounts to nothing more than walking your drink three extra steps. This feels less like a café and more like an extortion racket.
Kosa Coffee, here’s a tip: earn loyalty with great coffee and transparent pricing—not by nickel‑and‑diming your way to higher margins. Until you ditch this exploitative fee, you can count me—and anyone with basic common sense—out.
See you never (unless I want to pay twice for...
