Other than the manager who is receptive to feedback and communicate with customers, unfortunately he is just temporary…
All their staffs are not trained and should be fired omg. Shoe drag floor until the sound is so annoying, see empty plates dun clean, forgot how many times I asked them to clean or else they just stand there and stare at the ceiling. Asked for charcoal for skewers also dun bother. Asked for new plate they brought whole set. It’s like u can see with ur eyes only a plate is needed why bring everything like bowl and chopstick so unnecessary?
Food is just okay, like any other places that didn’t stand out. Doesn’t use much spices only chilli padi. Nothing exceptional. Like stir fry cabbage not even a single Sichuan peppercorn. What’s the point of putting chilli padi? Cheaper?

The service was exceptional, with attentive and knowledgeable staffs and owner who helped us navigate the menu. They even adjusted the spiciness for child friendly taste and prepared a few vegetarian dishes for my vegetarian parents upon my special requests.

I absolutely love this place! You Wei serves some of the best Sichuan and Hunan food I’ve had in KL. The flavors are bold, spicy, and incredibly satisfying. Their Suan Cai Yu (酸菜鱼) is a must-try – the broth is rich and tangy, and the fish slices are always tender and fresh.
The stir-fried pork with pickled mustard greens is another favorite – savory with just the right kick. You can really taste the authenticity in every dish.
Service is quick and friendly, and the restaurant has a cozy, no-frills vibe that keeps the focus on the food. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys true Chinese cuisine with heat...
