Never knew why people liked Chinese steamboat 🤷🏻‍♂️ this is my second time trying out Chinese steamboat. And this time .. I kinda liked it.

The restaurant wasn’t busy when I was there. So checked in MySejahtera and in we went. It was welcoming .. AC was cold and place was cosy. Ordered their Mala soup based RM38. The waiter kept on pestering us to order Patin fish RM11.50 per 100g 😳 averaging 1.3kg per fish. Seriously? Patin for that price? There were only the 2 of us. Thinking that RM150 for the fish alone was an overkill. I prefer to sample other meat offerings.

So I turned over the menu and ordered side dish instead. The waiter told me to tick ☑️ what I fancy and left us in peace. Too hard sell 🤷🏻‍♂️ made me uncomfortable. I ordered lamb, pork, dumpling, cabbage and tofu skin. They put on a show when the serve the soup. 😁 even taught us how to eat. They charge RM3 per head for sauces, mild, medium and spicy, watermelon and cherry tomatoes. Free refills!

Mala soup base - savoury, Mala and spicy at the same time. It’s addicting to say the least 😁 I can’t feel my lips after the 2nd bowl of soup. Pork and lamb was very fresh. Dumpling skin too thick and the size was tiny.

All in all a good experience.. except for the hard selling waiter. Will return with more family members to sample other offerings. RM145+ for 2 person. Not exactly cheap but worth a try. Manned by Burmese who speaks...

Yummy Hot pot that can spray water💦! You can eat the authentic wooden barrel fish that is popular in China 🐟!

First, a special wooden barrel is covered with 400-degree high-temperature black stone, and then the fresh fish and broth are poured into the barrel. The fish is cooked in an instant, and the smoke will be puffed when it comes to the table. The scene is spectacular 👏! First drink the soup and eat the fish, and then turn on the fire and put the ingredients in the pot to eat as a hot pot. After the soup is boiled, the small holes in the wooden barrel will spray water, just like a fountain. The soup flowing out of the small holes is very fresh.

The live fish can choose from tilapia, toman eel, patin or dragon grouper fish.

Offering 4 kinds of soup bases, including original, fragrant, tomato and sauerkraut soup, each with its own deliciousness 🤤!

We choose the hot pot fish package rm 328 which includes 2.5kg tilapia fish, pork balls, tofu, pork slides and vegetables & etc. Price slightly expensive and small portions.

However their garlic chilli cucumber and preserved century eggs are very delicious and cost rm 8 each only. 👍

Don’t come at peak hours as they don’t have enough manpower. Need to wait at least 30 mins after order done. Forgot to serve us free items like tomatoes and...

Chose rm48.80 for 3hours unlimited refill promotion for 10pax. Waiter came and promoted this promotion as it’s very worth and said rice and sauces are unlimited refill. When paying the bill, rice and sauces have been charged,we asked about it they admitted they did the mistake for the bill on rice but they have the extra charges for the sauces. Well for that as it’s only RM3 per pax. After paying the bill only we realised that the calculation of the total bill including service tax and GST is not tally with the total amount before the taxes. Their explanation is that although the rice and soup are free, but we still nid to pay for the taxes. Dont even understand why it’s ady free but still taxed it!!!! For the refill of rice and soup,we always nid to wait as they said it’s still cooking. While for the fish, when we ask for just 2nd round refill,we waited for an hour, in between we went to reconfirm for twice,a while say this fish ady finished or that fish is very big, give few reason before it’s served. After serving the second round, they ask for last call ady, padahal we waited for an hour in between! I know they ady tired working for whole day and can understand but the...

Taste: 3.5 stars Actually it tasted quite decent, the soup was flavourful, fish is soft and tender, fish itself was quite fresh. Here comes the problem, for patin fish (2 pax) minimum order is 1.5kg and there wasn’t much fish to begin with, the price however is absolutely ridiculous. The fish itself is RM138 for patin fish, can you imagine? We had a total of 5 side dish (tiny portion for their prices) and one desert and one jug of lemon tea. The total bill amounted to RM321. Safe to say that the price is way too much for the portion size. We were only full cause we drank bowls and bowls of soup. That said, I will never ever ever step into this restaurant ever again. Also their staff act like you owe them a couple million dollars, super impatient and looked like they are having the worst day of their life. If you have too much money to spend and is looking for a hearty pot of fish soup then this is the spot, if not just don’t bother.
