I’m no Fred (Flintstones) when it comes to wikipedia of steaks, but good enough to know THIS is worth bringing your family and friends. Glimmer upon arrival is the ease of valet service, and the entrance itself is like finally figuring out the password to the Chamber of Secrets - gotta say, bless the folks who installed that block of a wall as a door. Crew was very friendly, and as someone who’s comfortable blending in with the background I turned my shy side eye. Appreciation notes includes, the availability of surau - what’s not to be grateful for when you are blessed to be able to enjoy such feast, pay it forward after this. I like the 90s matsaleh playlist, though at the same time wondering why can’t Malaysians be proud of our own music and jajah other countries with it. AND while enjoying the design of the sink, I saw a glimpse of well curated space, lockers for their crew, who doesn’t love owners who cares, rock on with that example please. Food was MasyaAllah supercallifragilistic. It’s not easy to impress our critics (our kids) and they were truly savoring in silence, as did we. Our strategy was to opt for one of the ‘Signatures’ for 2 pax, 1 slow cooked ribs and macaroni for kiddos. It was so tempting to order the desserts but as I’m at the age where I need to observe my visceral fat, I shall come back post shedding. You might be wondering why 4/5 for service, because there’s another contender leading on that, a favourite for birthdays #iykyk Will you look at that, an entire essay. It’s my birthday hence, I feel generous with my review today. And never the least to dear husband for swiping his card for this. Thank you kbb ttdi for making our day special, wishing you a continuous success <3

Nestled in the vibrant heart of TTDI, KBB Steaks delivers an unforgettable dining experience for steak enthusiasts. The setup is lux and very stylish. From the moment you step into the restaurant, you’re greeted with a cozy yet upscale ambiance, blending modern decor with warm, inviting tones that set the stage for a satisfying culinary journey. KBB Steaks prides itself on sourcing high-quality cuts, and it shows. The menu offers an impressive selection of steaks, from tender ribeye to melt-in-your-mouth wagyu. Cooked to perfection and served sizzling hot, each steak is seasoned impeccably, allowing the natural flavors of the meat to shine. Their signature steak—a perfectly charred, medium-rare tomahawk—is a must-try for anyone who appreciates the art of steak preparation. Accompanied by a side of creamy mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables, it’s a meal worth savoring. Beyond the steaks, KBB also offers a range of delectable sides and appetizers, such as their truffle fries and house-made sauces, which elevate the dining experience further. Vegetarians and non-steak eaters aren’t left out, with creative dishes like grilled salmon and hearty pastas to satisfy every palate. The service at KBB Steaks is impeccable. It’s halal, Muslim owned, and no alcohol served. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a well-deserved treat, KBB Steaks excels at delivering a premium steakhouse experience.

i loved everything about this place. made a booking a week before we came, and during the day one of the staffs texted to check regarding all the extra notes i have attached during booking. free valet definitely helps a lot as the area is so hard to find good parking spot. and the food portion and the taste are at par with the price point. what we ordered (for 2 pax sharing): - cant remember the name but something like grilled calamari; taste wise pretty mediocre and felt like it wasn't well seasoned. can pass on this one - steak + ribs combo (we took the wagyu steak on medium well doneness); steak was well seasoned that i didn't take it with anything else cs it was that good!!!! and the ribs??? gurl lurvee!!! so this one is on the sweeter end so it balances out the saltiness from the steak. ALSO; the mash potatoes--- it's amazing although i kinda think it's from the powdered mashed potatoes but still. amazing. both these meals filled us up so well- we had tiramisu for dessert but had to push it in cs we were just that full. ++ the people who worked there are also wonderful and always making sure we are happy with what is served. i loved the whole experience i had there. would revisit for some other celebrations sometime!

My recent visit to KBB Steak TTDI was unfortunately riddled with issues, making for a less than satisfactory dining experience. From the moment we arrived, the lack of service was apparent. There was no one to greet or seat us at the entrance, setting a somewhat disorganized tone for the afternoon.

This lack of organization continued at our table. We were seated at a long table, but place settings were completely absent. Even more surprising, our food began arriving before any plates or cutlery were provided. When they finally did arrive, they were presented in a stack, leaving us to awkwardly distribute them ourselves. This felt incredibly unprofessional, especially for a restaurant of this supposed caliber.

The issues with cutlery didn't end there. For the children, the "kids cutlery" consisted solely of a plastic knife. No fork or spoon was provided, and we had to specifically request them, which further delayed their meal.

The complimentary bread service was equally disappointing. For our long table, only one set of bread was provided. We then had to request that it be split onto two plates, which seemed like a basic courtesy that should have been offered without prompting. It would have been far more reasonable to provide at least two separate bread plates for a table of our size.

Beyond the cutlery and bread debacle, the restaurant was unable to fulfill any hot beverage orders due to a lack of hot water. This severely limited our drink options. Aside from bottled water, the only other available beverages were sugary drinks, leaving those seeking unsweetened alternatives with basically no other choices.

While the food itself had some redeeming qualities, the overall experience was significantly marred by the poor service. The lamb and ribs were highlights – the latter being particularly well-cooked with meat falling off the bone. The vegetables were also nicely prepared.

However, the mash potato, served in a container without a spoon, presented another practical challenge. The beef was average, and the smoked salmon was unfortunately not to our liking. The pasta, while eventually tasty, took an excessively long time to arrive. Nuggets for kids are spicy too.

The most significant issue was the lacklustre service. The staff clearly require more rigorous training to meet the standards expected of a restaurant like KBB Steak. From the absent greeting to the chaotic cutlery situation and the general lack of attentiveness, the service fell far short of expectations.

Overall, while some of the food was enjoyable, the numerous service failures and lack of basic amenities significantly detracted from the dining experience. I would be very hesitant to recommend KBB Steak TTDI in its...

So we rolled into KBB Steak TTDI last night thinking, “Just a casual family dinner, no big deal.” Little did we know, we were about to embark on a steak adventure so epic it deserves its own Netflix series (working title: Steak Wars: The Juicy Awakens).

Enter our hero: Afiq, the server with the patience of a saint, the charm of a stand-up comedian, and the multitasking skills of a circus juggler. From the moment we sat down, Afiq welcomed us like we were about to join an exclusive steak fan club. He gracefully handled our endless questions — “Which steak is juiciest?” “Can this steak survive my dad’s terrible puns?” “Is there a steak that pairs well with my mom’s ‘just one more bite’ syndrome?” — all while keeping a smile so genuine, it should be bottled and sold.

Then came the steaks. Oh man, these steaks strutted onto our table like runway models — perfectly seared, tender, and practically shouting, “Eat me before I become a legend!” One bite and the whole table went silent. Even my cousin, the human nugget, dropped his chicken fingers mid-chew and gave a thumbs-up. That’s when I realized: this place is not messing around.

Meanwhile, Afiq was on a whole other level — like a steak whisperer. Extra napkins magically appeared whenever steak juice tried to stage a breakout. I’m convinced he’s got eyes in the back of his head or maybe a secret steak radar. At one point, I caught him juggling menus and plates like he was auditioning for the Steak Olympics.

By the end of the night, we were stuffed, happy, and seriously considering nominating Afiq for sainthood. Or at least bribing him with more visits to reveal his service secrets.

If you’re looking for a place where the steaks are mind-blowingly good and the service is so on point you’ll wonder if your server moonlights as a superhero, KBB Steak TTDI with Afiq on the floor is a must. Warning: your taste buds might throw a rager, and your diet will definitely file a formal complaint. Worth every single bite and belly rub!

P.S. If you see me talking lovingly to a steak someday, just know it’s...
