Amigo Bak Kut Teh — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Use to operate from a stall at night in front of a Chinese kopi tiam. Shifted to own shop when business bloom. The lady owner also operate a stall along the yulek wai sek Kai in front of 7 eleven selling yau cha kwai. Quite a while did not eat here. Order claypot bak kut teh for 2 person and add Kam cham ku. Although meat tender and portion big enough the soup was too bland. The blanch veg was also tasteless. Did not see the oyster sauce on top of veg maybe diluted. The ginger wine pork kidney and liver also tasteless. Only saviour is big chunk and many kidney and liver. The only thing we are coming back is the onion rice and of course the huge and crispy yau char kwai. Parking at night is ok but not during working hours. Price acceptable. Lady boss will come take order and cooking is done at the dining area. We actually wanted to eat bkt at Connaught but sold out at 8 15pm!! That good especially the ginger wine kidney. Might go earlier but don't think will come...

Not recommend. The pork isn't fresh. We tried to tell the lady boss, and she don't even bother to listen our feedback and ask us to pay. Food is bad, price isn't worth for what you get. The portion is small. Onion rice is so so. The soup is very diluted as if they added water and salt to remain the salty taste. Service while ordering was fine, just right at the moment we politely inform her that the pork isn't fresh, her service is damn bad. Wouldn't recommend anyone to try. If feel like craving for bkt, just buy AI bkt instand noodle instead. Thats wayyyy better than what I've experienced...

LOVE IT...Will not need to travel all the way to Klang for a good n delicious Ba Kut Teh..

From a road side stall moving into shop lot ...the taste didnt change a bit..Service is much better, faster n more customer friendly..Ample of parking space as most shops are close by dinner time..

Has been my favourite place to go for Ba Kut Teh in Cheras, do try out their marinated pork..Delicious n go very well with rice.

If you are around Cheras area and want a good BKT..Go for it n I am quite sure U will love it..
