1. Ambience Shop seems small on the outside. However, for me it’s quite spacious inside. Customer can choose to eat inside or outside. Inside got aircond and comfortable. Calming english song. Suitable for visit for every age category. On my visit i saw a family with grandmother, a parents and their child and also a group of boys hanging out discussing work or assignments.

2. Service He makes us feel like being invited to his shop. Very helpful, he takes initiative to explain the menu in detail to us. He even suggest what suitable for us (malay/muslim). All the question asked is respond politely. Recommending a good food.

Food preparation is very fast, i think we wait around 15 minutes only. All come together but its like all is prepared together also 😂😅

He advise what and when to take a good video or picture when serves us.

3. Taste

Free flow of drinking water where you can ask from tge waiter or take by yourself.

So, we ordered,

A) Taro Pine (Waffle)

Top with Icecream Taro flavour, Caramel Drizzle and almond flakes. The waffle is big and crispy. Hot, fluffy, and slightly sweet. Soft with buttery flavor. You can hear the satisfying crispy waffle as you bite.

The sweetness of the caramel syrup perfectly complements the savory flavor of the waffle and Taro ice cream.

B) De Pine (Mashmallow Chocolate)

It’s basically a chocolate inside a mashmallow. It got a hint of smoky mashmallow and the sweetness of chocolate is balanced. Tastier.

C) Latte Dalgona

Delicious and creamy coffee drink. It has a rich and sweet flavor, with a hint of bitterness from the coffee.

D) London Fog Ping

Tastes like teh ais. But it got lot of milk. Instagram worthy. I like the taste but feel like expensive bit for this drink.

E) Chocolate Moist Cake

One of the delicious chocolate moist cake i have ever taste. Rich in flavor, yet light and fluffy in texture. The cake is well-balanced, with the sweetness of the sugar and the bitterness of the cocoa powder in perfect harmony. It is moist but not soggy. When i take a bite, the cake just melt in my mouth, releasing its delicious chocolate flavor.

If you are a fan of moist chocolate cake, you have to try this.

F) Strawberry Watermelon Cake

Strawberry on top tastes sweet sour, got a lychee also and in the middle big watermelon cut. Got cream and layer of cake also. It’s really tastier! And feel refreshing! Wah eat this after rain feel so good maaa 😍🥰

We eye this cake from the first we enter but we scared to try. At the end our rezeki the owner give us try this cake as they closing and tomorrow they close the shop. Thank you!

I craving for a coffee actually, but we are distracted by the dessert instead 😭

Noticed De.pine café during the MCO, honestly, I was less passionate about purposely driving from my place to the Cheras for cafehopkl.

Recently, I saw the café with expanding menu (I think they had new items for quite a few months ago), so with the cross districts uplifted, is time and also with reason to check it out.

Piggy minced wine rice definitely is the reason for my this time visit, it surprises me as the Chef’s (also the owner) recipe seems to be reminding me of some interesting taste but just couldn’t recall it, it is not like some sweet & sour pork ribs (or gu lo yuk), something I think close to will be home cook HP sauce but I didn’t ask them. Anyway, highly recommended this if you like minced pork (lean portion) with a unique sour taste. Portion wise, I think is decent. For this price, nothing to complain about.

Drink wise, the sparkling drink is refreshing, I ordered grape with lemon, my friend ordered strawberry. The grape with lemon I think is more on the lemon side, but my friend said her strawberry drink is very nice (next time I will go for it).

Comes to desserts, which are really the highlights. Marshmallow ice cream is definitely for your IG story, for a person who is not the marshmallow lover which I think should at least try one time. There will be a on the spot LIVE burning the marshmallow surface (no worry, the inside won't melt in less than 10 seconds (or lesser), personally I recommend the yogurt flavour, which good balances the sweetness of the marshmallow.

For the cakes, you MUST NOT miss their Rose Garden (Watermelon cake) if you are a rose flavour fan. The cake with diced cut watermelon & strawberry topping and between cake layer with the generous rich rose aroma cream (and it is SWEET for the dessert lovers). The Rose Garden with watermelon slice in the middle makes the mouthful with juicy while you enjoy it, I will definitely going to order one slice which just for myself next visit.

Coffee- the café served with nice barista style coffee too, at least the bean choice suit me which I don’t fancy sourly taste coffee bean, is roasted with a slightly nutty taste.

As I hardly drop by Cheras area, I walked away with some s’more cookies (soft cookies with generous chopped nuts inside, Biscoff fans, try their Biscoff flavour); the signature Tiramisu in the “Tuna can” is another unique packaging, something to shout is you can order one with liquor WITHOUT extra charge it is not overpowered but compliment well to the Tiramisu (sweetness level is slightly low but the cream cheese is kow kow).

Before I forget, the Sand cookies is definitely for the cookies person, it changed my perception (as it looks like just wafer biscuit), which I enjoyed each bite of it with my flatwhite on that day.

Overall, De.pine café is a recommended café with friendly services if you happened to be around the Cheras or should be in your cafehopping...

Went to this cafe last week and tried their Creamy Spicy Salmon Spaghetti.. oh my god !! so delicious and the portion is big enough to share for 2 unless you have big tank like me hehehe.

My friend ordered their Pumpkin Spaghetti, usually after 2 spoons i feel "muak" because of the creamy & cheesy texture but this one i can makan habis ^^ .

Then we tried their Black Pine (waffle top with scrambled eggs, bacon and okonomiyaki sauce), damnnnnn i didnt know that we can have this kind of waffle as i always go for chocolate with butter topping only.. you guys should try this !

Their Lodgepole Pine (crunchy waffle served with homemade ice cream) oso nice .. i like their waffle because it doesnt have this "bitter" taste.

Croffle with tuna, should add into your list as well ! We saw table behind us ordered this fancy ice cream where the staff will burn the ice cream coated with marshmallow and ... we ordered it too XP .

Have you ever imagine to scoop out Tiramisu from tuna can ? Well, you should try their Tiramisu (you can opt for alcohol if you want). I like how they use can and you "tapao" without being worried if the cake in good shape or not as it will always stays in good condition LOL. Kudos to the owner for this creative idea ^^.

Overall, i rated this cafe 4.5 out of 5!! and i will definitely come back for their Salmon Spaghetti...
