Behind the Wheel of Great Service at Belakang Bus Cafe
Belakang Bus Cafe isn't just about the unique location behind a converted Barber Bus, though that's certainly a conversation starter. What truly impressed me was the exceptional service that went hand-in-hand with the amazing coffee and delicious burger.
From the moment I stepped onboard, the staff were welcoming and attentive. They were happy to answer questions about the menu, offering suggestions and ensuring I felt comfortable and well-informed.
The coffee was a revelation. Perfectly brewed and bursting with flavor, it was clear they use high-quality beans and know how to treat them right. It was the perfect pick-me-up to kick off my afternoon.
The burger was equally impressive. The patty was juicy and flavorful, cooked to perfection, and nestled between fresh, toasted buns. The accompanying toppings were fresh and balanced, complementing the burger without overwhelming it.
But what truly elevated the experience was the genuine hospitality of the staff. They were friendly, engaged in conversation without being intrusive, and genuinely seemed to care about my experience. It's these little touches that make a big difference and turn a good meal into a memorable one.
Overall, Belakang Bus Cafe is a place where great food and coffee meet exceptional service. If you're looking for a unique and enjoyable dining experience, I highly recommend checking it out. You won't be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBelakang Bas Cafe is situated just outside the Arcoris Mont Kiara complex. The cafe primarily offers an outdoor dining experience without a permanent roof structure. Only three tables (with two seats each) are sheltered under canvas coverings, while the remaining six tables (each seating four people) and five high chairs are fully exposed to the open air.
The dining area benefits from the natural shade provided by large trees, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. The cafe itself occupies a small, narrow space positioned between the building and the main road.
The premises are shared with two other businesses: Pitboy BBQ and The Barber Bus. Belakang Bas Cafe operates in a cafeteria-style system where customers are required to order and make payment at the counter before food is served to the table.
The menu offers a wide range of breakfast options, including traditional dishes such as nasi lemak and fried noodles. I ordered a breakfast set consisting of half-boiled eggs, toasted bread with kaya, and a cup of white coffee for RM14. Considering the upscale Mont Kiara location, the pricing is very reasonable.
However, it is worth noting that the nasi lemak bungkus did not meet the usual standards, as mentioned by a friend who accompanied me.
Overall, the staff at Belakang Bas Cafe are very helpful and friendly, contributing positively to the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI found this cafe randomly on TikTok. The video didnāt even have that many views, but I decided to give it a try on a random Wednesday night with my partner. When we got there, it was super chill, no crowd at all. The vibe and ambience made me feel so comfortable and at ease.
I ordered the fish and chips, kaya toast, some local kopi (forgot the name), and a cup of hot cappuccino.
First of all, the fish and chips were absolutely amazing, honestly the best Iāve ever had. The fish tasted fresh, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. What really made it perfect was the sauce. I donāt know what itās called, but it was white and insanely good. I even asked for a refill and the staff were super nice, they gave it to me with no extra charge. To the manager, please give those two staff a raise. They were seriously the sweetest.
The kaya toast was also good. Not too hard, just the right texture.
As for the coffee, both the local brew and the cappuccino were just okay. Not bad, but nothing special. Honestly, I think ZUS coffee tastes better.
But even so, Iād totally go back just for the fish and chips alone....
