Nyonya Box — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Been here many times for their lunch and this is the second time I tried their panmee soup. First panmee experience was good here and today I noticed they used kueh teow for the panmee and I clarified with the staff there and she said it’s panmee, even the customer sitting next table also said it’s kueh teow. And it taste exactly like kueh teow also, but the chef insisted this is panmee. Very disappointed towards their services on how they react towards this kind of food complain as in this is not the first time I had panmee there.

Ordered lunch set and asked the cashier what drinks come with it and she said “Teh O limau ice”. Seeing my reluctance, she suggested that I order ala cart drinks instead, which forfeits the purpose of ordering a lunch set. Then I just when went the imposed drink option but she was trying to charge me ala cart price instead. When I inquired about it, she turn around to say that what she said was “Ice Tea” instead of her suggested “Teh O Limau Ice” that I didn’t want in the first place. Beware of such dishonesty. We met here at Nyonya Box for lunch today. The Blackboard menu didn't show any prices. It appeared to be empty as we could see no customers, other than the 2 ladies trying to order their lunch. The guy behind the counter appeared to be having great difficulty with the Point of Sale equipment to process the payment. When I finally got to order, they didn't accept cash, so we had the POS delay again. The other customers were sitting upstairs, hence the empty look. My Mee Rebus when it came was luke warm.
