I'm writing this review on behalf of my wife, who shared her recent dining experience with her friends at Cafe Deli by El Meson. They were very impressed with the service provided by the captain, who was attentive and helpful.

We came here for birthday celebration, we ordered paella mixta, mixed meat platter for sharing and white sangria. All of us thought that this place is overrated

Food wise

1. paella mixta (not worth it) the rice texture was fine overall very little seafood, but quite a lot of squid

2. meat platter (quite nice) some of the crispy pork belly was too fatty but the skin was crispy the beef steak was tender, but the sauce they provided was just mustard, which I didn’t really liked it. char Siew pork ribs was the best of all, the taste and texture are great chicken wing was very bad as there is no taste, worse than average as for the side we ordered, french fries was too salty while the mash potato was fine

Beverage We had white sangria, it was served with orange and apple inside, the fruits were fresh. The amount of alcohol they added in was acceptable.

Service The services are good they can speak fluently and were quite attentive as expected for this price range. We got a free basque cheese cake which was surprising. It tasted good, texture, sweetness and taste were all fine.

Overall, it is ok if your just coming for a dinner with your friends or family on a random day but as for a special occasion, it would be quite disappointing and dissatisfying as for the overall quality. Supposedly, I would rate it as 3/5 but I felt it was overrated so I am just gonna rate...

Quick Stop at Cafe Deli

Cafe Deli is operate by El Meson, which is a part of The Social Group of Restaurants. Currently serving at 2 locations, I like going to the Desa Parkcity outlet as I can enjoy a good Spanish food with greenery panoramic view of The Waterfront area.

One of the reason why I like Spanish food is the fact that I can afford to order many tapas and eat at the same time. Variety to me is preferred choice.

◾Josper grilled Iberico Lagrimas - the strip of meat in between the ribs cut into cubes and grilled to perfection, served with Thai dipping sauce. My personal favourite tapas here. ◾Garlic & Chilly Prawns - essentially al ajillo with prawns drenched in olive oils with garlic, chilly & wine. Served with toasts ◾Chorizos - Spanish spicy sausages on confit potatoes, served with toasts. ◾Bangers & Mash - pork sausage & creamy bacon mash. Served with onion gravy. Classic dish that can fill the tummy. ◾Sauteed broccoli & spinach - princess wanted some greens and was impressed by the fragrant garlic flavour in it.

BONUS - Watermelon Sangria which was a house special.
