TLDR: food was great, but portion's small; service's welcoming friendly and helpful but not for everyone; atmostphere is definitely the only best thing of this place..
let's start with the best first.. atmostphere where they have some indoor and outdoor seatings.. where there's a man made pond or something and a vintage car which are good for photos.. but honestly the indoor feels a bit warm but bearble..
we tried salad.. pizza.. pasta.. risotto.. cheese platter and some grilled meat platter as well.. the only ones i think worth mentioning would be the grilled seafood platter and grilled spring chicken.. the seafood platter will be my favorite where the king prawn.. scallop.. best of the best.. also with some veggies to go with them.. kind of nice.. and spring chicken is nice too.. the taste.. the tenderness.. the sauce (which i believe they given the wrong sauce where we ordered wine sauce but got mushroom sauce instead).. but it's still very good.. the potato thingy.. all good~!
then unfortunately the bad sides.. spring chicken as expected will be small.. but they are not generous for the side dishes too.. then i don't remember the rest honestly.. which is kind of sad to be honest.. it's not comparable to my experience at italy..
service was great~! overwhelming positive and welcoming actually.. i appreciate for the recommendations.. suggestions and all the efforts of servicing.. but sometimes some weird customers like me would just have to a peace of mind and order what we like that's on the menu with how many portions we want.. we can joke about it how we didn't follow your suggestions but seemed like the waiter took it personally and it's rude to tell your customer that we kind of suffered because we didn't listen to you while we're still dining..
for those who stayed and manage to read until here.. i would personally recommend another restaurant nearby kl tower.. i don't want to put the name here but you could just search from...
Read morewent here dinner with friends on a saturday night, and i’d say it exceeded my expectations.
the ambience was PERFECT. super cosy and relaxed, just right for a catch-up night with friends. warm lighting, comfy seats, and the kind of background music that’s chill enough to not overpower your conversations. it felt intimate without being too quiet.
started off with the appetiser - this month’s special set and it was shockingly delicious. the lobster was incredibly fresh (you could totally taste it!), and paired with avocado and their special sauce? so, so good. worth to try :)
the waiter recommended the fettucine al salmone, and honestly, it was amazing. super creamy, but not too rich. the salmon flavour was just right, nothing overpowering. everything was so well balanced. loved it. it definitely brings out THAT authentic italian feel.
now for desserts: their creme brulee was such a surprise - in the best way. didn’t expect that zesty orange twist, but it worked so well!!! light, refreshing, and not JELAK at all. the kind of dessert that makes you go, “okay wait, this is actually really good.”
and of course… what can go wrong with chocolate molten lava cake, right? rich, gooey, and just the perfect sweet ending.
overall, it’s a really nice place for family dinners, anniversaries, gatherings, and hangouts. plus, the price was actually really okay for such a nice dining restaurant…...
Read moreDad in law picked this place as they used to come here last time. We ordered quite a lot tonight and when the food arrived, the portions were quite huge. We shared almost everything. Things that we ordered :-
Nizzarda Salad Gnocchi Fettuccine al salmone Spaghetti Vongole Margherita Pizza Wagyu Beef Cheeks
We were attended by Summit. He was very pleasant, friendly, attentive and very understanding. He checked on us periodically and I observed that the Spaghetti Vongole was not a hit. I can’t eat clams but my mom in law mentioned it to Summit that the clam were quite sandy (not washed / soaked) properly I guess. If you go to some places and when you shared this to the server, most of the time they will just say ‘oh, really?’ and that’s it. Trust me, we were not expecting anything but just felt like sharing with him on this particular spaghetti Vongole as we found that the rest of the food was great. Please extend our compliments to the Chef and kudos to Summit for his attentive service. He deserves to be recognised as the staff of the month 😁. Please award him with a Star 🌟 We found the place was very cosy, modern and romantic but it was a bit warm though…. But… We will definitely come again. Thank you Ciao Ristorante for the...
