I've never been to a restaurant in Malaysia that has offered better service and hospitality than Curate, Four Seasons. I went to the restaurant to celebrate my mother's birthday and I was not disappointed.
The atmosphere is what you can expect out of a five star hotel. Curate will make you feel like you're in the shoes of a millionaire for a day. Marble floors, art decors that span a dining table for twelve, and warm tones reflected off the lighting. There's that perfect amount of space to explore what the restaurant has to offer without feeling like you're going to bump into someone's table. It's luxurious but you don't feel ostracized or out of place.
At the time, the buffet was split into a small selection of regional dishes. Local, Middle Eastern, and Italian. There's dessert, a cheese platter, a salad bar and a selection of juices. That was it. However, all of them were immaculately presented and they tasted amazing. The texture of the beef rendang, the hummus, the lamb, was on point. There was nothing up for offer that wasn't a burst of flavors. Quality over quantity. Every meal was fresh to the taste and warm to the touch.
The service was the main feature to write home about. The waiters and waitresses were always attentive. They made sure that our plates were replaced once we were done eating and that our glasses were never empty. While I was browsing through the buffet, Chef Qal introduced himself to me and asked me how the food was. He was heartwarmingly friendly and we got along well. He told me the process the Curate staff goes through to ensure the food's freshness and how the restaurant determines what dishes they would like to put on display. It was an insightful experience made even better when he arbitrarily planned out a celebration the moment he heard that I was here to celebrate my mother's birthday. On the house, Chef Qal ensured that their customers were having the best experience was the restaurant's top priority.
I say it again because I cannot stress it enough. I have never been to a restaurant in Malaysia that has given me and my family this amount of love, friendliness and hospitality. I recommend this restaurant...

I have initiated an email correspondence on March 24th to secure a reservation with Curate for the Ramadan Buffet scheduled for the evening of March 28th. Regrettably, no response was received. Subsequently, on the morning of March 25th, attempts were made to contact them via phone, but alas, no answer was obtained. Finally, in the afternoon of the same day, after persistent efforts, I succeeded in securing the reservation. However, it was not until an hour later that an email confirmation was received, along with a request for full payment.
Unfortunately, the email did not provide instructions for payment with SCB/CIMB credit cards to avail the 15% discount. It is disconcerting to encounter such challenges when dealing with an establishment of reputed stature. Opting for what is purportedly the most premium Ramadan buffet in Malaysia, one would not anticipate encountering such oversight and inconvenience in the arrangement process.
I have attempted numerous calls to +603-23828800, yet regrettably, there has been no response. On the occasions when the call was answered, I was promptly placed on hold until the line was disconnected automatically. Subsequently, I endeavored to communicate with the Hotel Operator via WhatsApp, where my request was handled by Amar. However, I found his assistance to be lacking, as he resorted to providing standard responses without addressing my concerns adequately.
This marks the lowest level of support I have ever encountered from a renowned global...
Read moreWent on last Sunday, food is overall ok especially they have fresh seafood now. but I was surprised by the service inside, front desk was politely greeting us. However, the staff inside even the chef or staff that help to pick up food was not all friendly. Mostly of them avoid eye contact, or and one of staff lady like a teacher keep lecture you to wear facemask if not you can't take the food, of course not a problem as its SOP but is the problem that how your attitude of making your guests feel, you should just put every notice and remind the customer at front desk. Some guest talking with the lady staff without a mask, she happily talking without asking the guest put on the mask when she so "particular"? and one of the best thing, they kept back one of my friends fork, but didn't replace it back so we requested it, the lady just came over and told me, the fork u can just easily get from ur dessert bar just for your information. that's really rude in a 5 star hotel standard, at a moment, i thought she asking me to get from the empty table. and she insisted us to go get ourself. we totally can understand man power and the busy crowd, if you can't do it, at least say smth good that you're occupied or get another staff or can we help ourself? I will not recommended this kind of service. I have a very good experience in Four season Seoul restaurant, all the eye contact, greet and helpful services but not here in this Four...
