I recently visited TGI Friday's after quite some time and decided to bring my toddler along for a nice meal, hoping to recreate some fond memories from my own childhood. The ambience was lovely and the service was truly commendable and the staff were attentive, friendly, and very accommodating.

Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. I ordered the Three Chilli Calamari, but it was so tough I couldn’t even cut through it with a knife. I resorted to using my hands, but it was extremely rubbery and difficult to pull apart. I informed the waiter, and to their credit, they promptly replaced it with a fresh serving. While the second plate was slightly better in texture, it was quite apparent that the calamari wasn’t fresh—it had a stale taste and appearance, likely due to being frozen for too long.

I also ordered the Friday’s Signature Glazed Salmon. As my toddler was getting restless, I asked for my food to be packed to go. However, when I got home, I noticed the chilli sauce for the calamari was missing, and the salmon had been packed without its signature glaze—both of which are key elements of the dishes.

While I truly appreciated the excellent service, I believe the food quality at TGI Friday's needs significant improvement.
