Made a dinner booking with the assistance of the staff via WA. Liked the fact that communication is possible via WA. There are two kinds of buffet, Ten and Shin with the former cheaper than the second one. We opted for the Ten buffet. There are two booking time slots for dinner, one at 6pm and the second one commences at 8pm. Buffet window is two hours with the last order on the 90th min. Portion of each order is pretty small so could order a few more at the same time.
Likes The meats are Halal but they serve alcohol. Price is inclusive of drinks, including beer and sake and Haagen Daz ice creams Very good charcoal is being used, and we did not walk out smelling like BBQ grills Server is very efficient and helpful Upon choosing the kind of buffey set they would guide you to the offering on iPad which makes it easier for us to order Server would give instructions whether certain meats are meant to be cooked before eaten, which is super helpful Meats are fresh and it needs to just go with a little bit of salt and better to taste its best The kimchi wagyu was the best dish I liked
Dislikes Would be good to have a few more cuts as Wagyu is generally quite fatty and u get sick after a while Most of the dishes were infused a wagyu and after a while all tasted almost the same Would be great if there could be more side dishes like Edamame or kimchi Stir fried or cooker dishes tend to be on the salty side, which could not being out the real taste of the ingredients Was looking forward to the tartar but they turned out not too much to my liking
Verdict A good place to go if u like wagyu and anything w wagyu with some seafood.
A good place to come if u have Muslim friends that dun mind coming to a placd that serves Halal meats but w alcohol so that Muslim and non Muslims friend can dine together.
Could have more assortment of cuts (mixture of fatty and less fatty ones) and really need improvement on the cooked dishes as they were too salty, mushy or looked like they were heated up using microwave (the waygu tofu).
Overall friends and I...

Yakiniku Tenshin is nothing short of exceptional. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with an ambiance that balances understated elegance with the warm intimacy of a true Japanese yakiniku house. But the real magic? It’s all on the plate.
What sets Yakiniku Tenshin apart is not just the quality of their meat – which is world-class – but how they incorporate wagyu into every bite, not just the grill. Their wagyu tartare is a silky, umami-packed masterpiece that melts in your mouth. The wagyu don is rich, comforting, and layered with flavor. Even the wagyu miso soup – something that sounds simple – is elevated with the depth only top-grade beef can provide. And don’t get me started on the cheese oyster – the perfect fusion of briny freshness and indulgent creaminess, it’s a must-order.
Then comes the star of the show: the A5 Miyazaki wagyu cuts. This is not just meat – it’s art. Perfectly marbled, buttery soft, and grilled to perfection at your table. Every slice speaks of the highest grade of Japanese craftsmanship in beef – juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor.
Yakiniku Tenshin doesn’t just serve wagyu – it celebrates it. Every dish is curated with precision and heart. Whether you’re a wagyu connoisseur or just discovering the world of premium yakiniku, this place will exceed every expectation.
⭐ 11/10. I’d give it more stars if I could. Highly recommended for meat lovers, date nights, or just anyone who wants to experience...
Read morePersonally I won’t recommend coming here, we dined as a group of 4 pax, we chose the more expensive buffet RM488++, we ended up paying RM550 after taxes, it’s not about the price, it about the quality and service.
Wagyu served isn’t high quality as promised. They will constantly miss your orders, order 5-6 items, 3-4 will come. Order beef, they will not serve the more expensive high quality cuts and bring the cheaper ones to you. Excuses from the servers, like order machine no paper, so did not see the order, but the cheap beef cuts can print, expensive cuts cannot print out? Told off the staff, and said I specifically want some items, she replied me ok, but end up, still my order never arrive. Caviar and uni isn’t an ala carte item, you need to order the full set, where they will put some cheap cuts and give you one small serving of the caviar or uni. Servings start out as 2 pieces per serving, but from the 3rd round onwards when I know what I like and start ordering more, 1 serving becomes 1 piece of meat or never comes anymore. Feels like tasting menu.
I seriously cannot stand such cheapo tactics from such restaurants, if you cannot afford to do buffet, DON’T provide buffet. Only good thing is, food is fresh, there was no bad smell. But to pay this price and be deprived of what I should be served, truly sucks and spoils the whole...
