I've been here 4 times. The only time I had good food & excellent service here was when I came here with my orang putih friend. Only then the tauke nio was super friendly and checked in on us every time. My orang putih friend also told me he's been here several times and the food was always good. So you'd probably have a much better experience as a foreigner here :-)
When I came alone, the staff and tauke nio's behaviour was so unfriendly, it's almost as if they didn't want me there. One time for lunch they closed the restaurant shutter while I was still inside and all the staff left except the tauke nio at the counter that always looks so moody. They could have told me before I decided to dine in that they were closing in 10 min.
Everytime I came alone, even when the restaurant is almost empty, I have to flag someone down to pass me a menu or flag someone down to take my order or flag someone down to ask where my drink was.
Photo attached of my last order "Fried Sigapore Beehoon" (sic). The noodles were not only tasteless and unseasoned, it tasted burnt (not like wok hei) and was literally soggy. It was as if they threw the soaked noodles into a burnt pan for 30 seconds then dished it out. The veggies were also so little, which is absurd because this is a vegetarian restaurant. What else do you serve other than vegetables??
I can't believe I paid more than RM10 for this plate. I tried to force myself to finish it but I couldn't. Photo attached is how much is left that I couldn't force myself to finish. They forgot my soy milk this time (no surprises) and I asked them to not serve it because I was going to leave. They told me to wait, then they served it immediately... Uhh okay. Cherry on top was paying for disgusting food & terrible service to a grumpy looking tauke nio at the counter.
I continued to visit because as a vegan there aren't a lot of choices for me, but rest assured I will never come back.
Oh, and by the way, they only accept card payments if you spend a min amount of money. Which is illegal in Malaysia, if...

Read moreI found this vegetarian shop unexpectedly, and I must say, it blew me away! The variety of food they offer is incredible – from classic dishes to creative ones, there's something for everyone. I like their curry lamb, curry fish head, etc.
And the taste amazing and delicious. It's above my expectation. Price wise, it's affordable too.
But, I have to be honest about the downsides. During busy times, you might have to wait a while to get your order. The place gets packed, and parking can be a bit tricky to find nearby.
Despite these minor inconveniences, if you're willing to wait a bit for some delicious vegetarian food, this place is definitely worth...
