Domino’s Taman Desa — If incompetence had a flavour, this is it

10:50am: I placed my order. 11:40am: after 50 minutes, the app still parroted “Kitchen is preparing your order.” I’d been ringing nonstop—every single time I asked to be transferred to Taman Desa, the line conveniently cut out. Not once—every time.

11:41am: someone finally answers. Barely coherent. Blames a “system error.” What error? No answer. I ask for an ETA. Response: “we’re packing your order.” That’s not a time. Pressed again — “10 minutes.”

Then the app flips my order status to Out for delivery, and at 11:57am it has the audacity to mark DELIVERED and beg for a review… while I’m staring at an empty corridor.

~12:02pm: rider finally shows. I ask about the late-delivery voucher (Domino’s 30-minute promise). He shrugs: “I don’t know. Check HQ.”

What did Domino’s Taman Desa actually deliver? Ghosted calls, fake tracking, zero ownership, and a late customer. Their system gaslights in app form, their customer support team is a revolving door to nowhere, and their definition of DELIVERED apparently means “still on the way, mate.” If incompetence had a flavour, Domino’s Taman Desa is extra-large. Absolute shambles.

I hope they can do a written explanation of how this farce happened and what Domino’s Taman Desa is fixing so the next customer isn’t treated like an idiot.

PSA: if you fancy hunger, and being told your food arrived when it didn’t—this is your place. Everyone else: avoid Domino’s Taman Desa like a dodgy...

Ordered food at 10:58, said it would take 15-35 mins to arrive at my location, at 12:15 it still says that order is being prepared in the kitchen, I called their outlet 4 times, each time I was not answered. No wonder this outlet has so many bad reviews, considering the other reviews of this dominos, i suspect I’ll receive my order in another 2 hours if I’m lucky. Not to mention I also suspect that they’ll tell me to fill in a feedback form, but seeing as how many people they told to do that, and considering how the service is still as appalling as ever, nothing is going to change.

Edit: my food finally arrived at 14:03 PM, more than 3 hours after i ordered it, not only was it cold, but it looked like this

Did the driver shake around my box like it was a maraca?? And why are the cinnamon pieces all in one big doughy clump (WITH NO CINNAMON)

Oh actually wait no, there was cinnamon, ON THE MOZZARELLA STICKS, not to mention the pasta is literally dry underneath the cheese, dry as in some parts are still crispy!

I’ve been to the hospital and the food there is better than this, and it didn’t cost 60 ringgit and I definitely didn’t have to wait 3 HOURS.

Pre-ordered at 6.35PM and to be delivered by 7.30PM, 7.30PM the status stuck at 'Ready in Store' for 50Mins! Domino web super buggy unable login, no one answer phone call too! No way to reach or cancel, feels like being scammed! 8.24PM status updated to 'Being Delivered' est 8Mins, but tracking system map error, i've waited at lobby at 8.32PM and status showed 'Enjoy Your Meal', i started to worry and run between 3 Blocks to check if rider drop at the wrong block, 8.40PM i saw rider just arrive at my block...! Although he did try to apologize and explain they were busy, but…

Onion Rings was half burnt, cold and soggy with thick flour cant find onion inside. Pizza and Beefy Salsa Tango was cold and soggy, everything is so disgusting and uneatable, have to throw everything after few bites, and go out find something else to eat.
