My friends and I visited Dunkin' - MRT Ampang Park for lunch on 30/5/2024. We ordered teh tarik and while dining in, we noticed the drink tasted different from what we expected. It turned out the female staff with long hair mistakenly gave us the wrong order.
While the mistake itself wasn't a big deal, what disappointed us was the way the male staff with black spectacles handled the situation. He called us over to change the drink, but then questioned us about why we did not informed them about the wrong order (siap menjeling yeee). As this was my first time trying teh tarik ais at Dunkin' Donuts, I wouldn't have known the difference initially.
When I informed him it was the wrong drink served, the female staff apologized, but the male staff did not. My friends also noticed him making negative expressions behind my back.
Unfortunately, this experience aligns with some other reviews I've read about the rude and unfriendly staff.
On a separate note, the teh tarik itself was quite disappointing. Mamak's teh tarik taste...
Read moreI lived in Chicago for more than a decade, and I did not like Dunkin’ doughnuts chain at all.
But since this shop just open up and it is in Kuala Lumpur, I got curious if this is any better than ones in Chicago area.
And the answer was YES. It is SO MUCH better than that. All doughnuts tasted fresh and still fluffy. I tried cinnamon, choco nuts and hazelnut cream. All of them were great. It is much less sweeter than I imagined, and texture is so much fluffier than the ones I used to have. Flavor is nice and gentle it should be enjoyable as a breakfast in a busy morning. And I think it would be a good idea to buy a box to give to someone I would appreciate as well.
I am happy that I can actually come to this Dunkin since it’s pretty close to our house and the 2 amping park station. It is so easy to drop by on my way home after work...
Read moreI visited this Dunkin' yesterday at approximately 7:07 AM and observed that the establishment was still closed, even though the operating hours sign indicated that it opens at 7:00 AM. I noticed one staff member inside. I inquired with the staff member through body language if the shop was open, to which she responded that it was closed. I was taken aback by this response. She did not make any effort to open the door or ask me to wait for a moment. While I understand that they may have been preparing, it would have been courteous to acknowledge my presence. Instead, the staff member seemed to be waiting for me to leave. I find this behavior completely unacceptable. Please update your operating hours sign if the store is not going to open promptly at 7:00...
