From food truck to brick and mortar, it is still one of the best options in KL for some Mexican food as close as possible to original.
Although it is openly TexMex, se items are more on the Mex side (simply not loaded the American cheese).
The chicken wings are pretty much all good American style, and I just wish they would be more soaked in that American wing sauce. The give you a few strips of celery, but the replace the blue cheese dip with KFC cheese sauce style, which is not a bad idea.
The chimichanga is worth every penny loaded with flavored ground beef only. No cheese and no refry beans, which would the Tex signature, which is good cause it makes it more authentic and light.
The shrimp tacos are more of local twist, with 3 decent size deep fried peeled and frozen shrimps. The salsa seems to be more of their own receipt - good but maybe missing the kick, so I asked for Tabasco.
The Cinco Island is nothing that a Long Island Iced Tea, which for 35RM had enough booze it to make you smile.
The Black Cowboy is a rendition to Cuba Libre using tequila instead of rum. Nice glass tho.
The service was pretty good and attentive, but it was early Friday night and not so busy, yet.
I will definitely come again to taste more food and hopefully they have some...

Probably the saddest I've ever had - tasted like they just mashed some old avocados and called it a day. No zing, no spice. The cheese sauce was kinda alright though, so there’s that. But what was up with the sour cream? It was like someone forgot it out on the counter.
Now, I will give props where they’re due. The veggie tacos with that fried broccoli? Not bad, actually. Kinda quirky and tasty. But, seriously, no hard shells for veggie tacos? C'mon.
And don’t get me started on the burrito. Way too much of that bland guacamole. I couldn't even finish it.
But hey, on the bright side, the ambiance was really nice, and the service? Fast and on-point. So there’s that.
Overall, some hits but mainly misses. Hope they step up their...

Food was good and very reasonable as I've ordered the Set Lunch Promo (they have 4 choices if I'm not mistaken!) Go before 3pm! Wanted to order the Chilly Soup 🍲 but they ran out!🥲 The Set Lunch was definitely worth it as it comes with complimentary Ice 🍋 🍵, add in RM 3 to get a Free 🥥 🥥 jelly 😋👍🏻 + Free 🍨 🍦🤪 with a Google review! Voila! Very affordable!! In fact I doggie-bag some nachos & burritos for the kids & Mother's Day celebration!🎉🎊 Hey! I'm definitely returning here again, next with the gang! 😁🥳 Love 💕 the simple ambience...
