Located at the Lower Ground level of GTower is this island stall; it is beside Rakuzen & the Food Court there. They serve Nasi Lemak, Mee Hoon, Breakfast and one Dessert of the day. The portion is small however you can request for extra Nasi Lemak or Mee Hoon without extra charge, Thanks to the update from the Owner on this (this is similar to the previous Kelantan Kitchen in PNB DarbyPark as well as Tang Pin Kitchen in SS2). Taste wise it is below average for the Sambal Sotong as its dull in flavour. The Nasi Lemak /Mee Hoon sambal however is tasty and is not too spicy, the peanut & fried anchovy is also well prepared. Expect a long queue during lunch time. 09 Mar: Tried Ayam Berempah today which is actually Fried Chicken with herbs, the chicken is tasty and not dry (they are able to maintain the juiciness although on first glance externally you may see it as if it shrinked & is dry inside); the rice portion is better now (forgot to ask for more but they have improved to cover this). You can also ask for additional Nasi Lemak sambal if...
Read moreI ordered their nasi lemak ayam berempah (RM13.90), along with a fried egg (RM1.80). This is one of my favourite nasi lemak spots in Kuala Lumpur. Sangat sedap. It is worth every cent.
The nasi lemak itself is incredibly fragrant. I am especially fond of their ayam berempah, which is delightfully aromatic, cooked to order with a crispy skin and juicy, succulent meat inside, and not overly oily.
The sambal is both sweet and savoury, with just the right amount of spiciness, perfectly complementing the nasi lemak. The ikan bilis and peanuts are wonderfully crunchy, making the overall dish perfect.
The restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and provides a pleasant dining experience. The food was served within 10 minutes. Please be prepared to queue during peak...
Read moreIn the basement food court of the Menara G Tower, this little gem keeps the people fed at a rapid pace with very tasty food. The chicken curry had multiple layers of flavor which I found to be irresistible. The chicken was tender without falling apart. The little sides of sambal, peanuts and fried onions allowed me to adjust the flavor at will. Along with the Curry Chicken, I had the thai iced milk tea and a small thing for dessert for which I didn't catch the name. It was a sticky rice cube, one side green, the other white. Made for a nice, chewy finish to the meal. During another visit, I tried the beef rendang. It did not disappoint, however, the chicken nasi lemak remains...
