Chanced upon this food truck cafe on a pop-up event one day. Since then we've been frequenting this food truck cafe and tried most of the dishes they could offer, from luncheon meat fried rice to lotus root soup and tong sui. Behind the business is a former media photographer who shared that many of the dishes are inspired by his favorite childhood meals. It’s fascinating how food can transport us back in time, allowing us to relive nostalgic flavors from the past... perhaps that is why sometimes I have a craving for luncheon meat fried rice, and his version reminded me of how my mom used to cook for me too when I was a child!

We went during the afternoon and it was not too hot at all. It was nice and breezy and shaded with trees. Food was amazing!
