UPDATE : I had to change from 5 star to 3 star now due to their food consistency. Each time I went here, the food taste won't be the same. Quite disappointed on that and this restaurant might not be my top list anymore. I have dropped by around 7-8 times after my first time review back on 2022 and I had to change my reviews now. I hope the owner will look into their food quality and improve.

Toothsome foods! Their sambar is something different from other restaurants.. It has some unique taste which i loved the most.. I love their mutton chicken varuval combo.. Must try their egg guruji and chilli chicken which is new on their menu.. This restaurant has become my favorite spot for lunch or indian food cravings.. I've visited like 6-7 times already and the taste is always the same.. Thats very good,keep it up..The only thing is the table and chair which is very uncomfortable.. Otherwise no any complaints... You guys should...

I recently visited Madurai Muniyandi Vilas in Brickfields with two of my friends, and I must say, it was an experience to remember.

The food was absolutely amazing. We ordered the chicken and mutton set meals varuval, and every bite was a burst of flavor. The dishes were so well-prepared and delicious that we were left speechless—it was truly out of this world.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Even though it was late at night, they went the extra mile to set up a table outdoors behind the shop, creating a cozy and comfortable environment for us to enjoy our meal. The outdoor seating added a unique charm to the experience.

If you're in Brickfields and craving authentic South Indian flavors, I highly recommend visiting Madurai Muniyandi Vilas. Great food, amazing hospitality, and a warm atmosphere—what more could...

Well its not worth the hype and the shoutout for the best varuval as for me. The chicken meat that we had was tough, hard and there wasnt a mutton meat barely. The food is very salty and the cabbage perratal was just so sad. Well the serving people have their own attitude. I honestly feel you are not serving the customers with a good manner. Servicing crew really need to change their attitude, wasnt customer friendly. There should be lot of improvements in terms of food quality, service and food taste. A huge dissapointment as I felt for the price we paid we could have gotten a better decent meal elsewhere with a good ambiance. Came downstairs and saw a stall which had their service staff with head covers and attires; probably can incorporate that as well. Please take all the one stars as a room for improvements for better...
