The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is generally good. However, I feel the need to share something that left me quite disappointed during my recent visit.
Firstly, there was a man—I'm not sure if he is the owner or someone in charge—who was addressing issues among the staff in a very unpleasant manner. He shouted loudly and, shockingly, even referred to a staff member as a “dog.” That kind of behavior is extremely inappropriate and uncomfortable to witness.
Secondly, his loud voice and tone while speaking inside the shop were very disturbing and created an unpleasant environment for the customers.
Thirdly, I noticed an incident where a small boy entered the shop, presumably to sell something, and a lady[the boss] immediately called the staff to chase him a way. Well, I understand that it’s a business setting and you want to avoid disturbances, there are more respectful ways to handle such situations. The manner in which it was done was unpleasant to witness.
I’ve visited the shop twice before and really appreciated the food and service. But after this experience, I don't think I’ll return, as I felt there was a serious lack of professionalism and basic ethics. I hope you take this feedback seriously and work on improving the overall environment—for the sake of your staff, customers, and your...
Read moreBeen here several times. Like the thali here. Asked a lady at the counter as i entered if thali was available and I’d like to have one. She said it’s available and asked how many guests in total,I said a friend will join me shortly and she told me to sit. Reminded a male staff passing by that I am waiting for my thali. 20 minutes passed no menu was given or did i get my thali meal. I asked the lady instead, she said i had to scan the qr code to place order which i wasnt advised to do. 🤷🏽♂️ in the past orders were noted down. I’m okay with this system but to leave a hungry customer hanging clueless isnt right that too upon reminding one of your male steward on my food he nodded and even he didnt tell me to do so. When i asked the lady why didnt u take down my orders she said i have to scan qr. then i asked why did u noted my order initially prior to getting a table and didnt proceed to inform kitchen, for this she said i was waiting for your other guest to arrive to take order. 🤦🏽♂️ so which is which. Even your staffs are in the dark.A simple clear instruction could save all of us trouble. It was busy when i went but i still saw a few staffs by the counter standing. Not even one came to check on me. I left disappointed not even an...
Read moreHungry and famished we walked in. Requested for one set Indian Thali. Made it clear that since we don’t know the food, would order additional food and portions which was anyways in menu available for extra charge. Despite this, the owner/manager gentleman walked in and rudely obstructed our request for extra chilli saying we don’t allow to share food. Only after I reiterated that we will pay extra, he doubled down. This experience made us very sad and left sour taste in an otherwise acceptable eatery. Food was anyways overpriced for what they served. Rudeness that too while serving food, and that too to people who don’t understand cuisine was very impolite and unkind.
My note to the gentleman: have the same good heart as the good food you are trying to sell. If you are very much of stickler for rules, please set up sign posts for diners.
On a side note, servers are very friendly and nice. And overall if not for this experience I would have come back again for vegan food. Food taste was good, it felt...
