The good: -char kuey teow is indeed delicious. Very special.

The bad: -portion is pathetically small. Smallest ckt I've ever eaten. Only 4 spoon full and that's it. Their spoon is very flat not even big to begin with. Maybe just enough for 5 year old child but definitely not enough for adults. -prawns are super unfresh. Probably been in the refrigerator for at least a month. Been here twice and the prawn quality is equally bad. How bad is it? Bad enough that you just leave it on the plate and leave. -don't bother ordering the more expensive "special" version. The portion is the same, only give you more prawns, but pointless since the prawns are unfresh. -place is hot and stuffy -utensils are wet -self service despite the exorbitant price, you have to queue, order, pay and bring your own food to the table. Wouldn't be much of a problem of they are as quick as McDonald and has air conditioning, but too bad they don't.

During my first visit, I was so hungry after eating the ckt, I went to try their nasi lemak. Which is pretty bad. The chicken is OK, but the rice taste like nasi ayam instead. The so called sambal is more like sweet sauce, zero spiciness and totally sweet. The fried egg is drenched in oil. I have to press out all the oil with my spoon. Seriously worst nasi lemak ever. It's more like chicken rice with sweet sauce. Btw they only give ikan bilis with no kacang.

Although the ckt is very tasty, I won't be coming back again. Portion way too small and uncomfortable...

We ordered chicken nasi lemak First time went to this shop Nasi sikit😒,kacang tade😤,ikan bilis ade😌, telur goreng kena bayar asing boiled egg pun kena bayar asing kalau nak lah 🤬, timun, fried chicken is nice😘 ,sambal ni manis sikit and water self service.... price rm35 above which is normal.... Baik aku beli nasi lemak bumbung or any other delicious nasi lemak... My question is for nasi lemak boiled egg also must pay?kacang tade but the price is same ? really ridiculous... Nasi lemak items Nasi Sambal Telur Kacang Ikan bilis Timun Ini je lah biasa ade ....but this is too much boiled egg need to pay separate? But the price is still same only... Normally fried egg only have to pay separate ....The staff working on the nasi lemak counter was not friendly at all and was showing their temper and sour face while serving the customers. The way they take the order and serving was very unprofessional. Not recommend from us...

Firstly, I bought some CKTs a few days ago as take-outs after 3 PM (not crowded as per attached video) so my experience may differ than those who dines during peak hours or busy nights.

The service – quick, friendly and straightforward. Awesome!

Price – there are definitely cheaper CKTs but not that big of a difference and for the portion, taste and quality provided it is reasonable (if you picky), relatively cheap (if you cool). *Prices are as of 25/04/2025

Atmosphere – Similar to KL-style mamaks with metal chair and tables. Nothing aesthetic. Practical. Clean. Good enough.

Food – CKT (dry) is on the sweeter side and not a strong wok hey taste but you’ll like it if you’re into slightly sweet CKT. CKT (basah) is on the savoury side, not sweet which is good and is tasty enough.

Overall, they serve good CKT, not anything special but delicious enough to satisfy that sudden CKT cravings (at least...

Worst place I’ve ever eaten. The food and drinks were absolutely terrible. I ordered char kuey teow with extra cockles, but there were barely any and the few that came were tiny and had a sour taste, clearly not fresh. The portion size was shockingly small and not worth the price at all. Tried the beef lung with sambal it was cold and tasted like it had been sitting around for a while. The iced lemon tea? Completely tasteless. Whoever is running this place seriously needs to learn the basics of cooking before trying to run a restaurant. The staff were unfriendly, unmotivated, and seemed like they couldn’t be bothered. I definitely will not return. Food’s bad, service is worse, and it’s just not worth your money. I strongly recommend avoiding this place altogether but if you don’t believe me, try it yourself. Like this review if you had the same experience.
