Luncheon at Muzium Kesenian Islam
We're heading for lunch with the kids on the first day of the year. Each of us not knowing where to dine but as today is a Public Holiday, we try to avoid the malls.
Thinking that most probably museum will be the last place Malaysian will go on the last day of school holiday, we decided to try the Middle Eastern restaurant at Muzium Kesenian Islam opposite of Masjid Negara.
I simply love the shady road with green foliage leading to this place. This is also my mini escapism on every working day, by going through this route on my way home from office. Inhaling the fresh air and feasting my eyes on the cool colour of the garden, all my stress evaporated into thin air before I arrived home, Alhamdulillah.
Back to Moza Restaurant. The restaurant is located at the second level of the building which can be accessed by the elevator. The interior decoration is pleasing to the eyes. Simple yet tasteful.
We had hummus with flat bread as the starter and the kids loved the flat bread. Hummus or mashed chickpeas was ok to my palate. We ordered chicken pop corn for the kids and we shared Lamb Mandi. The lamb portion was huge but not the rice, thus we had to order another plate of rice. The meat was so tender and very flavourful. As for dessert, we shared a plate of apple pie.
If you need a place to dine with friends and catch up over the meal, this is the place to go. Tasty meals, good service and beautiful surrounding. You will enjoy the company and the lunch.

Read moreFood is tasty but very expensive for the portion. Don't come here if youre hungry and not willing to spend at least rm 50-60 per person including tax.
Ordered the lamb mandy( rm47) and mousaka jabneh (rm27). The amount of rice given on both were very little considering the price. They have chosen a certain aesthetic to serve customers instead of size and satisfaction lah. Garlic mayo very nice and not overwhelming like others and their apicy tomato is a moderate spice. Perfect across the board.
Omm Ali dessert was really nice and i actually came back here...
