Went there for iftar yesterday upon seeing it on Tik Tok. Despite hearing from other friends about their bad experience with the service when they visited last year, I decided to give it a chance, hoping that the service had improved. Service wise is only 2 stars. Called them 5 minutes after opening and the way that the staff talked did not sound welcoming, so I thought oh maybe they were busy doing opening so it's fine. Fast forward to around 2 minutes before iftar, we asked about additional rice and the staff (girl) mentioned she hadn't been informed. This was a mistake from our side as we did not write the additional request in the form via Whatsapp, only in the chat. So the staff said it's okay and she will prepare for it. So, we waited for roughly 8-10 minutes, the rice never arrived. I thought to give them time to break their fast yet no one came. Then, I went straight to the kitchen to ask just for a plate without rice and there were 4 staff members (3 boys, 1 girl I mentioned above), the girl's face was visibly annoyed. After getting the plate, one of the boys said sorry twice. Only after that did the plate with rice arrive. Food wise is 3 stars. Not much to say but the daging salai masak lemak and sambal udang petai were good. Keep it up. Atmosphere is 3 stars, the decoration is nice with the classic kebayas, information about 'Pontianak'. However, the parking space is very limited but we were allowed to double park. I would suggest to have a PA system or a list indicating which car belongs to which table to ease the staff without needing to ask each table individually.

This fancy-spooky themed restaurant located in the area of pallidium condominium. Built in the house with front yard which is actually customer parking. Was not aware the sign for customer parking inside and ended up parking down the road. The name and themed of the restaurant a bit weird in a good way-probably the first in malaysia. The door is closed and you have to open it by your own. There’s customers knocking and waiting until the door is opened. Maybe put the sign in front of the door. As we stepped in, the vibes of eerie of old house hit us. With the wall of red roses (could be romantic for some). There’s display of antique collection next to the cashier. The atmosphere of spooky is somehow confusing with romantic themed. They could’ve played spooky music themed instead of Siti Nurhaliza’s and other english pop song. The food is served in generous portions, with titbits of onion crackers. The acclaimed best seller Nasi goreng kambing tastes just ok. Nothing special. The nasi lemak also tastes ordinary-as the ayam berempah is quite dry. The size is quite big-matched the price. Staff are attentive and well mannered.

Last year, I visited this place for the first time, and since then, I’ve always ordered their Nasi Goreng Kambing through GrabFood. Last week, I dined in with my family on my birthday, but I found the food to be average, unfortunately. Masak lemak daging salai: Way too spicy—when I say overly spicy, I mean it! There was also less of the smoked flavor, which didn’t suit my Nogori taste. Nasi goreng kambing: My usual go-to, but it disappointed me this time. Spaghetti carbonara: Surprisingly delicious, especially with the chicken fingers! Nasi Goreng Nenas: Salty. Tomyam: Aaaaaa it was saltyyyy 2.0! Nevertheless, the staff were very attentive, and I appreciate their service. Parking is quite plenty too.

Food - 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We were quite mad about the waiting time, but luckily the meals quality made up for it. Honestly I can’t remember what we ordered, but the meals were quite original and more importantly delicious. I wasn’t sure how to enjoy it at first, but the taste is somehow balance and unique. We would love to come again and try a different meal.

Service - 🌟🌟🌟🌟 We arrived around 5pm, so naturally there wasn’t many customers there. However, I would say that the waiting time is quite long. We were also given menu that consists of lamb shank, just to be informed that the meal wasn’t available. Fortunately the staff apologised, so the score was settled I guess. Otherwise, the waiter was friendly.

Atmosphere - 🌟🌟🌟🌟 A very unique experience. The concept is related to nusantara ghost “pontianak”, and yet the design is giving more of a fine dining vibe. Suitable if you want to celebrate anniversaries, or even corporate events instead.

Price - 💵💵💵 Overall - 4.7🌟 ——— ✅GOOD✅ Unique and different meals that you may not be able to find elsewhere. Cool concept which you may find romantic or creepy, in a good way. We wish that more people recognized this restaurant. We were quite sceptical at first because of its controversy (I don’t think it’s this branch), but still we were amazed by its food.

**Notes: Scoring: 70% (3.5⭐️) Food x 20% (1⭐️) Service x 10% (0.5⭐️) Atmosphere

We came for birthday dinner treat for my sis in law. Staff was friendly and helpful. Atmosphere and restaurant deco was great. This outlet more to family friendly vibes compared to previous outlet in Danau Kota which was more to romantic and dim lightings. Food we ordered was Platter, nasi goreng kambing, fish n chips, smoked duck alfredo and chicken chop chinese style (not in the picture). Nasi goreng kambing has a flavour of its own - quite ok but i think not to my liking a bit spicy on the spice not chillies. For the Platter - the dory fish was overfried became a bit hard, beef schnitzel was not tender and dry. The pastas was good, lamb a bit dry but the marination was ok. The sauces still lacking..i think the lamb still go best with the blackpepper sauce. For others besides tartar sauce, its ok to try your special recipes. Fries on both Platter & chicken chop not fried enough. Chicken Chop was not tender, not sure due to over grilled or just been defrost. The Smoked Duck Alfredo said to be the restaurant signature dish, I would say its rather true, superb taste. Creamy and the smoked duck meat tender and delicious. The drinks was refreshing though some of it really over sweetened. Should cut on the sweetness. Price was fair, hope to see some quality improvement to suits the price. I am a returned customer, been to Danau Kota before, for your restaurant name and dining experience i came...
