Restoran D' Lala Seafood — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Called the restaurant to book for buka puasa (break fast) and was told we had to order the food over phone to avoid from waiting.

When we arrived, we noticed all of our food were already there. But the food had other company too. Flies were everywhere sitting comfortably on our food. I sighed and complained to my wife but there's nothing much we can do - the place was crowded.

Halfway after we started eating, I noticed something uncanny in between my vegetables ( Kailan Ikan Masin). Turned out, it was a DEAD WORM on my plate. I stopped eating, put down my cutleries and complained. They could only say sorry and didnt charge for the vegetable. I wasn't happy so decided to take a walk down to the kitchen and couldn't believe what I'm seeing - the kitchen was such in a dirty set up. Unhygienic.

So to those who are planning to dine...

After dozen recommendations, I have high expectation on this place, but it disappoint me. the fish is not fresh (have very bad smell, like rotten smell especially on fish gill and stomach area)

I raised my issue to the waiter, acknowledged by the owner and he just cancel the charge for the fish, not the overall bill and no further explanation or regret.

worsen part, it cause my wife vomit many times after that and may required medical attention if this may lead to food poisoning.

I gave 1 star just for the toilet cleanliness. the food is not fresh, the staff is not friendly, the menu...

Ambience is nice, space is huge, decoration is pretty

Didn't manage to try much of the menu since me and my friends came quite late at night. But they were nice enough to still entertain us.

We came just because of pulut mangga(mango sticky rice), the one at Suraya was already sold out so we needed to find alternative. Luckily, DLala pulut mangga didn't disappoint! They used a different kind of mix for the santan on top of the pulut, tasted like tepung pelita, so I like it. It's just that the mangga is not that fresh, but still...
