I've passed this restaurants many times when I was driving along Old Klang Road and noticed that they were doing good business, looking at the endless stream of customers. Therefore I knew that in order to be able to secure a table,we had to come early.. eat and then leave before peak hours. One fine Saturday afternoon when the small ones finished their swimming class, we quickly made our here. I took a look at my watch and it was slightly before 6.30pm yet a lot of customers started coming in. We managed to secure a table as well as parking spot (it's limited). ◾braised pork trotters - sweet & savoury with the perfectly braised soft pork trotters. This dish alone was clearly the favourite of everyone, with the kids mixing their rice with the sauce and proceed to polish it clean.. the son even added a second helping of the rice (probably hungry after the swimming lesson). ◾Signature steamed clam (lala) - fresh with the aroma of the ginger and fried shallot. I tasted Chinese wine taste in it. ◾Deep fried nam yue (fermented beancurd) chicken - those who love fermented beancurd will definitely dig this.. deep fried perfectly without causing the chicken meat to be overly dry. I had the most ◾A plate of green to balance out the meal This was their branch that I'd gone to.. as they have another main branch in 3rd Mile Square nearby. Dining environment can be hot and stuffy because the restaurant is pretty basic with fans, tables and chairs.. and not properly ventilated. It pays to finish everything early and leave because everyone was waiting for our table when we left the restaurant after the dinner. This is a place where you'll call Peng Leng Jeng.. the good food is made up with reasonable pricing.

Tried this restaurant for dinner few days ago. Here is the overall experience There is a few branches with the same name as this name seems to be popular for Chinese restaurant. There is another branch with a typical restaurant seating which the dad’s son running the restaurant. Parking : 2/10 It is literally at the roadside beside the highway. Right opposite Scott Garden If you are lucky you will get a parking or rather you MUST be lucky to get a parking. Food : 8/10 It is really tasty and service is prompt and fast. We tried almost of their signature dishes. Best one stands out is the steam fish, roasted duck and claypot stingray curry. We manage to get table early around 6pm however crowd started to form a queue line at 6.15pm onwards. The place is really humid and hot like an oven because it is a roadside store. Despite having some fans and portable air conditioning, it is still very humid and hot. Nonetheless,My recommendation is to just come here and give it a try. You would probably crave for ice cream or cold desserts after so just dine and leave right after!

You'd know a Chinese restaurant is very good when it's neighbours to a mechanic, the furniture in the whole restaurant costs cheaper than your TV and the staff attire is whatever you just got out of the bed with. For my colleagues and I this is our special treat for Chinese New Year (for yisang purposes) and if we have any foreign guests coming. They would judge us weirdly until they taste the food. Because the food here is SSSS+ level tier. You probably couldn't get enough rice because it goes so well with all the sauces here. We've been here a couple of times, and my personal favourite was the lala and the tofu. I can't remember anytime in my life fried tofu was ever this good. It's a bit hard to get to, even if you get a Grab. Pro tip: don't get dropped off on the Meng Kee on the east side of Old Klang Road, it's safer to get dropped off to a place next to it, like the Lim Tayar Old Klang Road. It's also extremely difficult to find in Google Maps for some reason, so if you are somehow reading this because you found the pin in Maps, more power to you.

I was full of expectation when my friend recommended me to go this place as it closes to his house. I put my empty stomach in order to enjoy the food there. When I reached there at 12.15pm and ordered food while waiting for friend. We ordered 4 dishes. The restaurant was only few tables and which already eating. The lady who took our order even asked us if can start cooking and we said YES. Thereafter, there were few more tables coming in and ordered their food after us. When my friend reached, we started chatting and afterwards we noticed all the dishes came out were not ours. Those were for the tables after us. We asked the lady and after checked with kitchen and she said our orders was missed out. How can this be happened??? We have been waited for almost 30mins at that time. Then my friend said since the dishes have not cooked, we like to change one of the dishes. Thereafter, we waited for another 20mins, we saw the dishes out from the kitchen still not ours. I asked them again and they said because we changed one of the dishes. Then I asked what about my other dishes???? 10mins later only our dishes start coming out. I was so hungry and angry. They never even apologize to us. Really not happy about their service. “Eat dragon meat also no taste”. Food taste just moderate. I saw their business is good, that’s why they don’t even bother to...

We ate at this restaurant for the first time with 2 of my colleagues (incl. 1 expatriate) influenced by video in Tik Tok . For information, we came here twice, first they sold out most of the dishes, therefore we went to the next door Fatt Chun. With great disappointment start from ordering, the waiter auntie feel impatient because we are not familiar with what to order. Many common Chinese restaurant dishes not available, like Spinach Soup, Stir fried bitter gourd and the waiter unable to recommend other for replacement and Black Face to us. It's embarrass to us in front of expatriate, and even our expatriate try to avoid looking at the auntie face afraid will loss her patience and back fire the waiter.. For the food, the Jiu Pai Fish head taste is so so (tasteless) but the steam Minced Pork is not bad. The waiter spoiled our mood for the rest of our dining experience here untill we feel not to order more (why shd we spend more in this restaurant? ). As compared to the next door Fatt Chun, Fatt Chun service is 5 stars, the auntie keep asking us how's the food? anything to add? serve and refill our tea,, wipe our table if dirty etc (with smiley face) until payment to the boss. Our conclusion, will not return to Meng Kee (baned...
