Visited The Royal Bedouin with my parents on a Saturday evening and were amazed at how wide the expanse of the restaurant was. The entrance was very well decorated. As soon as you take your first step through the arched glass doors, you see a beautiful painting of a Bedouin leading his 2 camels through a desert, complimented with familiar Middle Eastern copperware. To the left of the entrance was an amazing display of dining copperware and delicate ceramic cups, saucers, pouring jugs, flower pots embued with colourful ceramic overlays. It was pretty.
The restaurant itself felt well equipped to be an event space, with an environment that could easily have a registration table, photobooth, band performance on a slightly elevated stage, drinks bar etc. They even have a private function room that has a maximum capacity of 20 persons, which can also function as a karaoke room. The dining space was also more higher ceiling compared to the normal restaurants in the area. Hence, adding to the sense of space.
The restaurant is easily accessible via the Sri Hartamas Shopping Complex parking lot.
The service was friendly, polite, and enthusiastic.
In terms of food, the Bedouin provides solid offerings, akin to its original restaurant based in TTDI.
Highly recommended: Lamb yemeni plate - imagine a black claypot plate with small strewns of lamb inside House made Mulawwah - thin crispy pita with white and black sesame on top Shish tawook - baked chicken pieces supplemented with light white mustard and ketchup Adeni tea pot - star anise teh tarik
Okay but still nice: Falafel Mutabbal Fatoush Salad Kunafa
😊 I would definitely come back and...
Read moreFrom appetizers to desserts, this restaurant exceeded all our expectations! I’ve been to many similar restaurants, but this one truly stands out. The cozy atmosphere, soft lighting, and elegant decor create perfect balance between elegant and relaxed whether you’re dining indoors or al fresco. The food here is absolutely delicious! They use the freshest ingredients and make sure each dish is done the right way. Don’t miss out on trying their mixed grill, lamb mansaf and adeni tea and, their kunafa is to die for. Highly recommended!

Read moreI would like to express my extreme disappointment with your service today. I’ve mentioned a dozen times that today was a special celebration for my fiancé’s 30th birthday, and not a single ounce of effort was given to us by any of the staff in the restaurant today. Firstly, there was a decorated birthday table for us, but when I walked in, no one guided us to the table and instead, we sat at a regular table. And I texted and called to double check, no one responded. I noticed the manager hear the phone ring, and pass it to a staff to silence it. When I clarified at the counter after ordering, the staff said ‘oh we had already decorated the table for you, why did you sit at another table’, as though it was my fault when your staff was unaware. We then ordered a kunafa for my fiancé’s birthday, that too never arrived. Not a single member of the staff bothered to apologize for ruining what was supposed to be a special celebration for my fiancé. I had celebrated my birthday here before and had a good time, but this was just unacceptable and appalling. I will never return to this...
